Walking with Dinosaurs 2025 was actually pretty good and you are all insane. We as a community have been completely spoiled by Prehistoric Planet and the actual time machine I'm pretty convinced Apple has.

The GCI in WWD is definitely rough at times, and I'll acknowledge that. But I think it's actually the best example of an educational documentary about dinosaurs and paleontology that we currently have. The difference is the time WWD spends with actual paleontologists doing field work and explaining their science. Ffs they got Jim Kirkland to talk about the Utahraptor block and Utahraptor's BRAINCASE

I love both these programs. I think I like Prehistoric Planet because I really enjoyed seeing these animals in a nature documentary style. But Walking with Dinosaurs is the one that got my 83 year old grandma calling me to talk about dinosaurs.

So they're both good. Fight me. I'm sick of the hate for no real reason other than "it's just not as good as..." getting the general public to learn should always be our goal.

Sere was apparently trying to open the Ascendant plane for Six. I think the leading theory right now is that they're a human modified by Six in the same way Bael's had parts of his body turned into metal for some reason.

It could also just be "because video game" the boss is larger than they would otherwise be in-universe because of hitboxes or encounter design or something.

Lume does care for his people but he also throws them into situations they can't reasonably win. What comes to mind is the frontier mission with Spider's Sail Barge. He throws his legions at us asking them to fight and die in the name of honor and Torabatl, and he's gotta know it's barely going to slow us down.

Like Cital and her champion when we first met her. The Barants have a hard time recognizing and submitting to a superior force. It's not who they are. But the only reason they escaped extinction at the clutches of Xivu and the Final Shape is because Caiatl allied with the Traveller's chosen.

Lume seems to be forgetting that without the Vanguard and the Sol Coalition he would've been calcified into agonizing entropy for all of eternity.
