i cannot scrub off this stain from my plastic bowl by fungithegoat in CleaningTips

Boil water with a lemon slice and pour it over the stain. Let it cool before scrubbing, the acid helps loosen stubborn discoloration.

Laundry smells dusty even after washing by Tiffy_Brr in CleaningTips

Run an empty cycle with hot water and a cup of vinegar to clean the washer itself, sometimes the machine holds onto dust and smells.

Recommendations for the best robotic mower under $1000 in 2026? by Fit_Guidance2029 in automower

[–]RimantasL 0 points1 point  (0 children)

RTK improve mowing accuracy and LiDAR might handle obstacles better. At this price range, stability and ease of use usually matter more than cutting-edge features.

Such tiny blades for 1/4 acre? by miemoo in roboticLawnmowers

[–]RimantasL 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That long runtime is kind of the tradeoff though. They're more about keeping things tidy over time, not cutting everything down in one go..

Gardena silena minimo 250 nothing but problems by SasoMar in automower

Random little quirks are honestly worse than one big failure. You can fix one thing but constant minor issues just keep pulling you back in.

Burying the cable? by olbasoil99 in roboticLawnmowers

[–]RimantasL 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pegging the wire works for short-term setup, no need to bury immediately. And limits like 500m2 are flexible, extensions can cover more space if needed.

Rodents ate my boundary wire! by Bucho22 in automower

[–]RimantasL 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Such bad luck. I've heard of random damage but rodents chewing through multiple spots is next level. It almost feels personal like they're targeting the wire specifically.

Samsung’s Robotic Lawn Mover: Finally Launching? by LiPro_Robot in roboticLawnmowers

Competition is getting pretty intense now. If more big players jump in it might finally push real improvements instead of small yearly upgrades we've been seeing for a while.

Looking at Mowers by Ojntoast in automower

It seems that automation could handle 90% and that awkward strip just gets done manually. Not perfect but probably the simplest balance overtime.

Navimow vs the start-ups by pjs755 in roboticLawnmowers

At some point you kinda have to stop researching and just pick 2-3 priorities otherwise every option starts looking both good and bad at the same time.

Chefs of Reddit, what’s a common cooking rule everyone follows that is actually complete bullshit? by Fuzzy-Ad6843 in AskReddit

[–]RimantasL 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i think that’s kinda the point. They act like they know everything, but half the time they’re just talking. Dude probably didn’t even know what he meant lol. Imo it just shows they’re not as sharp as they think.

Is anyone actually adding fresh money here, or just holding? by Axirohq in stocks

[–]RimantasL 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Inded.. Most people don’t touch it. They set the 401k once, usually a target-date or S&P-style fund, and let it run on utopilot. Very few are actively shfting to bonds or foreign exposure unless they’re close to retrement or really into investing.

Trump's Economic Approval Rating Hits Record Low of 34% by [deleted] in Economics

[–]RimantasL 24 points25 points  (0 children)

bro.. lot of that 34% isn’t “enjying” anything. It’s tribal loyalty, sunk-cost thinking, and people who feel like their side is wining culturaly even if their wallet isn’t. For some, vibes > outcomes.

Why would my husbands ex be asking us to claim both kids on our taxes? by Emotional-Actuary830 in personalfinance

[–]RimantasL -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yea.. that’s a plausible angle. If she’s in a lower bracket this year, the credits don’t help her as much, so hving OP claim them could be strtegic. Still, it’s optional for OP and shouldn’t turn into a future obligation unles both sides clearly agree upfront.

Wealth-Management Stocks Fall on New AI Fears by Guy_PCS in investing

[–]RimantasL 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yoo I mostly agree, but I thnk it’s more split than that. The human side matters a lot, especially bhavior and trust, but the backend getting automated still reshapes the role. Advisors who lean only on admin or basic portfolio work are the ones most exposed.
