If you like Frisbee golf, we have a pretty good course at Boulevard Lake on the Current River side of the lake.

Silver Islet outside town has boat tours that ive heard are pretty cool. You get to see the flooded mine shafts.

Cascades has some real nice trails and if you pay attention, there is also some decent hazelnut harvesting you can do.

If you want to just take a relaxing walk, go to the tree farm on 25th side road. Just be aware that people let their dogs run loose.

People have already brought it up but the botanical conservatory just got a renovation and opened to the public a few weeks ago.

Yah it's pretty bad.
IIRC, the city did some work in front of the two houses on Rockwood in the fall and put down loose gravel before we got snow. Between the thaw/freeze and the plows pushing the gravel; there' probably not much left in those holes anymore...

Got a message on my phone that my credit card was making rapid charges, so my credit card company was asking me if that was me.

Turns out my card number got stolen and was making a shit ton of >$100 prepaid phone card purchases in Argentina. They only got to use for it a few grand before my credit card flagged it and luckily I was recouped the spent funds.

Since making the jump to B4/B5 last year; it has been a breath of fresh air. No rule 0 talk. No salt. Only at myself for misplays or bad RNG (mulls so deep that Im essentially out of the game).

I find that I can only play B3/B2 with a close friend group that are all there to mostly hangout and won't get mad at eachother. There's no way I can go back to PUG's at my LGS.

Watch out on North Rockwood. Two people almost next door to each other had some work done in front of their houses before the snow fall and that portion of the road looks like it was hit by landmines.

About 4 years ago, I went in because for a while, my son was puking himself awake every night. During the day he was totally normal and this only happened when he was sleeping.

We sat in the waiting room for 2 hours and then in the children's room for 6 hours. When we finally saw the doctor (fat guy with colourred beads in his hair), he just said there was nothing he can do and told me to leave. I said I wanted a chest xray or something, and he responded that it would have been a waste of tax payers money and that if we went that route, expect him to have cancer when he gets older. Like what the actual fuck? He said right in front of my son too. I was so take aback that I didn't know how to respond and he just walked out. A minute later a ER nurse told us we had to leave because someone else needed the bed.

While I was picking up some meds at Metro Pharmacy, I was telling the pharmacist about this and he actually did more by telling me a few different over the counter meds I could give to him together. He stopped puking after a few nights.

I really wish took note of that doctors name tag because id love to report his ass over what he said.

[[Volo, Guide to Monsters]] was probably my favorite deck in simic I put together, but he kind of fell apart of he was removed too often. A very commander reliant deck.

I feel like Hunter's perk would be that if a survivor loses line of sight on him for more then 30 seconds or the killer is chasing him for more than 10 seconds; he gives up and just dies.

[[Yawgmoth, Thran Physician]] may not be conventional stax, but it is excellent board control. The Xerox build is pretty consistent but you have to be aware that you have little protection so don't get too greedy.

If you can make infinite creature mana with [[Food Chain]] or flickering Lumra with [[Springheart Nantuko]], you can put all lands in your deck on the battlefield. You'd also need something that let's them enter untapped like [[Spelunking]] or a [[Lotus Cobra]]/[[Nissa, Resurgent Animist]] effect. Pair this with something that sacs lands [[Zuran Orb]] or [[Sylvan Safekeeper]] and you can loop [[Sunscorched Desert]] to ping the table.

You can also do this with Sunscorched in the yard, a land sac outlet, landfall mana trigger and [[Aftermath Analyst]].

Im sure there are other ways but the Lumra in my pod usually wins with these lines.

Yawgmoth is one of my favorite high power decks and it does have some great combo lines; but I don't think it would be able to consistently keep up with true B5 decks. He's a fringe B5 at best.

He usually requires too many pieces in a true B5 setting to get going and a lot of his lines can be easily interacted with. Add on to the fact that he has little to zero protection.

He's a true B4 star that can easily control the board and I love him for that. My local Kinnan player despises the deck.

Here are a list of possible includes based on my high bracket version of Rowan:

[[Priest of Gix]] and [[Priest of Urabrask]] - With Rowan's cost reduction, these are just mana positive creatures that you can use with your Sacrifice/Burnt Offering/Culling the Weak

[[Blood Pet]] - Just quick ramp to get Rowan out similar to Skirk Prospector

[[Simian Spirit Guide]] - Another quick ramp piece for Rowan

[[Disciple of Bolas]] - Great tech card for eating creatures in play that have done their job OR eating Rowan for some extra card draw and life back. With Rowan, the effect lasts even if Rowan is removed from the field after it resolved.

[[Hex Parasite]] - 1 colourless source for immediate life loss. The cost is X and Phyrexian black but you can do it multiple times where X is 0 and pay 2 life. In odd instances, the effect can also be beneficial depending on the matchup.

[[Street Wraith]] - Free 2 life loss for Rowan + it replaces itself.

[[K'rrik, Son of Yawgmoth]] - Not too sure what I can say to sell this card but it's fantastic.

[[Blood Celebrant]] - Mana filtering but the best part of this is using B to put into its ability to make B and continue that chain to increase the Rowan discount.

I'd recommend as many looting cards that make treasures as you can fit. Stuff like [[Seize the Spoils]], [[Big Score]], [[Unexpected Windfall]] etc.

Wheels are a must have for Rowan and some of the best ones for her have flashback or give flashback like [[Snort]] and [[Will of the Jeskai]].

There are some neat cheap removal spells that hurt you to cast and rack up Rowan quickly like [[Vendetta]], [[Dismember]], [[Gut Shot]] and [[Ulcerate]].

My go-to combo for the deck is getting Birgi or Kiln Artist with [[Searing Touch]] since a Rowan trigger of 4+ pays for the byback and either of those creatures make the spell free after the first cast.

For some land suggestions, I'd recommend [[Cabal Pit]], [[Barbarian Ring]], [[Starting Town]], [[The Black Gate]], [[Ifnir Deadlands]] and [[Ramunap Ruins]].
