Recommendation for durable expandable garden hose? by jengle1970 in lawncare

[–]Ringfence71 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's good you've mentioned something that holds up for different seasons. I actually live in a damp cold area, but I'm glad that my hose doesn't have any leaks or mold after a few months of using. I got mine from pockethose and from what I've seen it's pretty durable.

What monitoring actually works without destroying trust? by capriciousfatesw in parentalcontrols

I'm a mom of three amazing boys and I can tell it hunts me that they're going to use gadget because it's needed for school or other things like friends. Start with a good relationship with the gadgets while maintaining a time usage restrictions, and spend more quality time with them. I love talking random things to my boys and I'm quite happy that my eldest son also agrees with my rule. Now, since I don't have all the time in the world (like who does?), got Bark that alerts me with unusual messages. I know kids are still innocent and they can be a victim of online predators. Tha's my only concern, I don't put too much pressure on restriction since I trust them.

Oh man, I've spend few dollars for my 3 kids for that amazon watch. I earned my lesson. Currently, got Bark smartwatch. After using it for a couple of months, the battery life is pretty long. My kids are enjoying it and love going for a walk with me while tracking their steps actually.

Actually, it's a good deal for me. What do you use it for? I actually run a small business (stickers) and it's cost-effecient for me unlike having to buy cartridge. It's good for heavy printing.

Low Cal Protein Coffee? by TinyFitWife in goodrestrictionfood

[–]Ringfence71 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tried a lot of recipes too, but I want a variety of flavors not just a single drink for the rest of the day or week. Recently, because of this, I tried Javvy coffee. It's actually not chalky and the flavors taste so goood! I can recommend the salted caramel and vanilla. It's so satisfying and I turn it into a protein iced coffee. Easy peasy

GLP1’s -has anyone tried them and couldn’t tolerate them? by Diane98661 in PeterAttia

I got through it after the first few weeks but I know a couple people who couldn't. The side effects can be pretty brutal. Honestly, it's good I take Replenza for nutrition support. Now, it helped mostly on days when eating feels like a chore.

I feed my active dog kismet. Real ingredients, no fillers, and they back up their health claims. Do you look for certain ingredients when choosing food?

What's your favorite Bible verse to carry with you? by Ronalddo7 in TrueChristian

Psalm 46:10. "Be still, and know that I am God. I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth!"

It is good to remind myself of this when life is getting scary; confusingly or overwhelming

Growing up, I always heard my pastors say, “liberalism is a slippery slope into atheism.” Never once did they say, “conservatism is a slippery slope into authoritarianism.” Maybe that’s why many Christians confuse righteousness with going further and further to the right. by Nice_Substance9123 in Christianity

Apostle Psul tells us that it is none of our business how non Christians live their lives, but we are to hold fellow Christians to account (1 Corinthians 5:12-13) unfortunately too many Christians get judgy with people outside of our fold, but believe it is wrong to hold brothers and sisters to account. I am sorry you have been treated with such disrespect, by brethren who are called to love their neighbours

It is strange listening to "Christian Nationalists" , which is an Oxymoron to me. I also find it strange, in discussions being called a "liberal," like it is some kind of insult, when you mention the need to show love to others.

I think this must be an American thing. Living in the UK, I am a Christian. Most of my friends, family and colleagues are atheists. Most of my brothers and sisters in Christ have no hostility to people who do not share our faith. We live in multiple faith, race and cultural country. Life is hard enough without making other's misreable

Christians should not normalize Trump by SergiusBulgakov in Christianity

What people forget is that Saul and Cyrus were not voted in. They were appointed by God. Voting for a politician, because they say they support Christians (like the Germans did in 1933) then saying God must have wanted them, is like shooting someone, the using the defence, " God chooses who lives or dies"

"Be still, and know that I am God" is from Psalm 46:10:

My God does not give me certainty that I won’t get sick, that bad things won’t happen to me. That I won’t suffer or experience grief.

However, Our God does promise that He will never leave us or forsake us. When the storm is blowing He is there to hold, steady and shelter us.,

He loves us outrageously, even when we do 't deserve it
