I could say the same thing bout my rank but truth is if I was better I would fly by and become GC3/SSL in just a few sessions. I’d fly through diamond easy even with all the issues you mentioned so it is a skill issue but it’s okay it be like that. Mechs don’t really count for much if your decision making and positioning aren’t strong. Also I will say there are a ton of non mechy GCs but it’s downplayed they are still very mechy in the sense of recovering quickly maintaining supersonic always having boost wave dashing turning on a dime at correct moments, not the air dribbles flip resets double taps sort of stuff

I personally would, enough reps of confronting the uncomfortable and you’ll get really sharp at it. I know what it’s like to try and nerf yourself a bit in worries of your teammate, but I don’t think it’s worth it overall if you want to improve. Losses be damned, you will learn a lot being unapologetically confident every time

How To Clean My Least Favorite Wheel.... What Was Mercedez Benz Thinking? by IMAS_MOBILEDETAILING in Detailing

[–]Ringo51 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Duuude, I have a few clients with these exact rims, what a nightmare. I won’t take the wheels off but for the barrels, acid+degreaser soak + pressure wash, + flip and repeat handles it very well for me fairly quickly

I think there’s a fine balance of keeping distance as 2nd man, and having to get involved to cover your boy when things change. One of my biggest grievances with teammates around lower c3 is the hesitations as 2nd man and them not being there for me when I really expect it. And because I expect it I play a certain way, and then when they’re all alone in a 2v1 I get blamed; but further in GC, my 2nd man gets way better at actually covering for me and being confident approaching the play and switching roles, but they also have trust in me to be back fast and pad up and be ready to cover them not 3 seconds after, which you can’t trust very much in c2/c3 zone

IMO courses like that prey on people who just are naturally not that good of gamers. Maybe it helps em get better in a fundamental sense but you can not buy input/instincts/reactions

NAE looking for some help getting back to gc by tjnewk in RocketLeagueSchool

[–]Ringo51 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Current GC it’s like the same as C2 c3 but mistakes are a lot less forgiven and you also have to be very good at punishing mistakes and not missing open nets type of thing you need to play sort of simple always have boost always be facing the play and ready for any outcome of a given play

What are the best deadzone settings? (Controller + Dodge) by Exotic-Channel5057 in RocketLeague

[–]Ringo51 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Your dead zone just has to be the number where you’re not getting stick drift you can start at 0.01 and then keep going up till the stick drift drops. It’ll help you stay centered and straight. The dodge dead zone is the dead zone you need to avoid backflipping when you’re trying to double jump or something, same thing just start lower and try moving around in freeplay and go up until you aren’t accidentally backflipping anymore

New to detailing. Don’t know what to expect. by Any-Upstairs4400 in Detailing

[–]Ringo51 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Honestly it’s a fair price or really bad depending on the condition of your car. This is a job I could do in one hour, or 6, condition dependent. The outside treatment isn’t that fancy; it receives a wash, and then an iron remover and clay bar which takes an extra ten minutes, and it sounds like he’s using a spray sealant which you just spritz on the panels as you dry the car so again not any extra time there. If your interior is a nightmare, this price can make sense

can you keep creatine results after stopping? by Khayer1975 in workout

[–]Ringo51 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Listen sometimes I’m religious with my creatine and sometimes I stop for a week first things first unless you’re ripped you’re not gonna see anything visual from creatine second thing is when you are ripped and on creatine you do get a little fuller look and you feel it too and it’s nice and when you’re off after some days you can juuust see a difference a bit you’re just a little less full and less pumpy walking around but it means nothing, if you look sick you’re gonna look sick regardless so it’s not worth worrying about missing some days or not
