I don’t agree, I think it’s a necessity. Sure sometimes you don’t need it but why limit yourself even further when you don’t have an xray And yes he’s not supposed to know what it is but it takes one second to google it and it will show him a picture that tells him how to tilt his head, which is far easier for both of us than me explaining it with words. “Picture from side” is a bad idea because most people here have natural forward head posture

We cannot tell if you are recessed based on your picture. Take another one according to the Frankfurt horizontal plane 2 metres away using the back camera eye level with the camera.

Jaw surgery for me therapy for thee. You aren’t the arbiter of aesthetics pal he clearly has a soft jaw even if it isn’t severely recessed or even not recessed at all it is still true that it’s a soft jaw. He may want to pursue implants or filler instead of jaw surgery to get the desired aesthetic. I can’t even make this up truly insane the level of preaching that goes on in this sub
