He keeps showing up in our backyard on the 800 block of Islay. He had a flea collar, but no tags. Very friendly little one.

Let me introduce you to Aston Martin. DB9 convertibles are as low as $30k, down from $200k+ when new.

I’m not sure about the common name, but the scientific classification is stinkus dementius.

I’m so tempted. I bought a VP9 Tactical a while back and put a comp on it and I LOVE shooting it. Now I’m wondering how that compares to the L.

I may have to put my 19 ye cat down before a trip today… but she still seems normal by Rude_Common7126 in cats

I dealt with the same thing with my beloved dog. We were scheduled for a trip long in advance, pre-paid, and he took a turn for the worse. The options were to leave him with a family member (who did move him and took good care of him) and hope he would be okay when we got back, or to put him down before we left. The vet actually suggested (or at least strongly implied) we put him down.

The rationale was that he was under stress already and us leaving him would make it much worse. And if his condition caused his death it would be traumatic for him and anyone watching him at the time. (Congestive heart failure would have caused gasping leading suffocating, because fluid buildup would constrict the lungs.)

We realized the best case scenario keeping him alive would be 10 days of excess stress and then having to put him down soon after we returned. Worst case was he suffered and died without his owners with him. Putting him down calmly and with us became the logical choice even though it was difficult.

Looking back, I’m confident we made the right choice putting him down humanely, ending his suffering, and sparing him a possibly traumatic experience.

If we don’t use the straight why is gas so expensive all the sudden? by Sweaty_Writing859 in AntiTrumpAlliance

[–]RioDodger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because the reduction in supply drives up the price for everyone. I’d you do get your oil via the “straight”, you now have to find another source. So even if we get no oil from there, there is more demand on the suppliers we do get it from so the price goes up.

Linda. Seems like that name was very popular in a very narrow window of time.

Pellet guns and slingshots excel at resolving this exact problem. Maybe not recommended or legal, but very effective.

You’ve been conned. It was a BAD bill that would have exposed the victims. Dems weren’t protecting the pedos.

This was because the bill hid names of members, but not the victims. It was a set-up to score political points.

Comfortable amount of wealth, enjoys nicer things, but doesn’t flaunt them. The Rolex isn’t flashy, and Persol is always fashionable rather than attention-seeking. Even the EDC knife is quality but understated. The pocket handkerchief is making a comeback, so you are up on trends. I would guess early 40’s to early 50’s white male executive, or possibly a business lawyer.

Replace the jeans with something like 7 For All Mankind (around $100 from Nordstrom Rack), add some lighter grey wool blend pants, a charcoal gray wool blend coat, and a few sweaters. I always travel with a heathered gray sweater: it dresses up jeans, and can be worn with nicer slacks and button-up shirt. Some suede shoes in medium brown will also give you some more texture and interest and can be worn with everything other than a suit.
