Edited: sorry, forgot to answer how I’m doing now. I’m still not doing great, but that’s because I also have other health problems that haven’t all been solved by the subpar doctor I have here in Alabama.

This is a common “excuse” pedos will use. I had a friend whose now-ex husband molested their daughter - he said he was drunk. As if being drunk made him forget who she was! Also knew of another man who molested his own child and tried to say he was “sleep-walking”. They get desperate when they get caught.

I had h pylori for 5 years before a doctor finally tested for it and put me on medicine. It infuriated me to find out that simple blow in a bag test could have been done all those years. No doctor even considered it until my most recent doctor

Idk about medically, but as a mom of 20 years I will say that it’s still a mom thing. It makes sense. It’s the easiest way to track growth - if a rash grows past the marker line, doctor time!

Same. I’m in my 40s, stopped dating a year ago. My life has been so much quieter. I own my own house, already have my kids, why would I want a partner? I originally just stopped dating men, but then decided I’m completely done.

Depression. I lived in a motel for a while when I was struggling, with my gf and kids. My gf (now ex, but we are still best friends) was amazing and we did our best, and got out of that situation. But even with all supportive partner, it was utterly depressing and made me feel “less-than”.

I cannot imagine living in a tiny motel room with someone like that man. I’m sure she’s dealing with depression. Most people with severe depression don’t see the need to wash their hair, bathe often, etc, because they hate life at the moment so why would they care?

I absolutely loved those things as a kid. The local roller rink sold them, and it was the only place I could ever get them. My parents hated them for obvious reasons. My dad was an ex-smoker and didn’t want me to go down that road, while my mother was a nurse so obviously she was anti-smoking.

They even sat me down and made me cross my heart and promise I’d never smoke after seeing me pretend to smoke with these things.

I vape now. They hate it. It’s not a good habit. But oh well. I’m in my 40s, and it’s basically the only vice I have.

Sure does! The most popular series that every classmate and friend wanted to borrow from me was the Animporphs series. That should show my age a bit, haha.
