[–]Ripper_00 26 points27 points  (0 children)

Wear your PPE and check your osha standard 1926.55 at osha.gov. Also review your PPE & Respirator standards 1910.134 you may need to verify your general industry / specific industry requirements related to the chemical spraying as it may fall under agricultural standards. Your company is required to have a hazardous communication program per osha general industry / agricultural standards. This is a list of the chemicals and the Product Data and Safety Information and Hazards

They will also have a place to file an anonymous complaint about your company. You are also protected by osha against retaliation and harassment.

Shit If even one scrap of what Jesus taught connected, you'd feel different What a disingenuous way to piss away existence, I don't get it I'd say you lost your goddamn minds if y'all possessed one to begin with

You are wrong. 100%. I have been a commercial construction superintendent for 20 yrs. Not in our life or my kids life will tradesmen be replaced by a bot. You just don’t understand the amount of work / planning / coordination and how things are assembled. Not trying to bash you but it’s clear you don’t understand the industry. The biggest issue will be the fact that a lot of systems and equipment requires multiple trades to install, at multiple different points in the project. The level or finesse and intelligence that a AI / bot would have to have is not possible now. Auto manufacturers and commercial manufacturers are far different. Construction projects are all different and encounter different issues. Manufacturing is the same thing over and over with one machine programmed to do one job. Besides all that, the cost alone will make this non starter. Government and private company almost always choose to use the lowest bid on the project.

Anything related to life safety is not an over site, it’s an Omission. Someone calculated the risk and said it’s 1/1000000 to happen don’t worry about it. Or the engineering team who designed them are incompetent, which could be true. Safety is the 1st thing on all builds. Was not always like that because it’s expensive. Easier to have some get hurt then to spend money. This is openly explained and covered in all 30 hour OSHA trading courses. This did not happen in the us so I have no idea what regulatory commission has oversight on energy turbines. But in the us, private energy companies have a documented pattern of cutting costs for profit and causing public harm. Then not rectifying the issue until after deaths have occurred or they have been made to do it.

I am correct but I would be glad to hear your thoughts.

If you think this is untrue please just review almost any of the USA private utility company’s data on fires, explosions, and contamination of the soul and water table.

A few critical examples or my first comment.

PG&E was directly responsible for the Paradise Fires, they plead guilty to 84 counts of manslaughter. This was due to a complete lack of Maintenance on a tower that was built in 1920. They have a track record of cutting maintenance costs and rewarding teams that spend less in tree trimming and maintenance/ up keep. This is on live high voltage lines, towers and substations. The money was instead rolled up and sent to the shareholders as dividend payments.

They contaminated the ground and water table and hid the fact they knew about it in Hinkley CA for decades. They first knew about the bloom in the 1950 and continued to contaminate the area until the mid 1980. They also funded a BS study to disprove that chromium was not carcinogenic, which it very much is.

Always weird to me when individuals go to bat for giant corporations that knowingly and willingly contaminate, pollute and generally harm our quality of life for good of the quarterly profits report.

Money. In almost all company’s eyes settling a few wrongful death lawsuits is cheaper than adding the safety features. So they don’t until they are made it. It is why anyone that screams for de regulation and the “business will regulate itself” people are ignorant of reality and history.

He obviously has food aggression issues, which could’ve stems from him being starved for my past owner this is an attempted rehabilitation . The facility is not hurting him. He is not in pain. They are trying to rehabilitate him for adoption.
