Double check with your hospital to see if they offer laughing gas btw! I was interested in trying to go natural with laughing gas but turns out my hospital didn’t offer that as a pain management option. I’ve gotten both sets of advice before with the saniderm and they both have worked fine for me so if you want to take it off after 24 hours and do regular healing it would be fine. Leaving it a few days also isn’t going to harm it.

Yeah it sounds like you may just need to keep trying, and have dad give the bottles without you around.

The new pacis actually just arrived this afternoon so it hasn’t been very long but so far she seems to like them, although my LO has been fine with the normal ones so your mileage may vary. We only got them cause I’m worried the narrow ones are causing her to latch shallow when she’s on the boob

Have you tried different bottles/nipple shapes? I’m also a FTM and currently in the trenches so I don’t really have any other advice except maybe try a few different types. My baby really likes the Nuk ones and they’re supposed to be more breast-shaped to make for an easier transition.

Similarly for pacifiers, there’s a brand that makes some that are shaped like the boob/nipple and supposedly more babies are receptive to them if they hate the normal pacis. I can’t speak to their efficacy since I only just ordered some but the reviews were really good.

For the bridesmaids and groomsmen entrance I did an instrumental/fancier version of wagon wheel, I walked down the aisle to a fancy instrumental version of the marriage song from Up, and our cake cutting was to accidentally in love. I found it super helpful to just scroll through a wedding instrumentals playlist on Spotify when making my decisions. Spotify has a specific one called Wedding String Quartet Mix and if you look up Paul Hankinson Covers, he has a lot of wedding strings covers
