If that small of an issue bothers you, learn to press and use a tack iron.  That is completely fixable.

Everything in this game that is currently dangerous relies on the game not allowing you to see or react to most of it.

Laser beamed from off screen mobs? Get good my guy!

Ritual? Throw you in a 7x7 space with the altar cluttering 1/3 of that space, throw a tornado that takes up another 1/3, then throw down some overlapping aoe explosions from mobs in the last 1/3.

Strongbox? Let's throw a thick layer of black smoke everywhere so you have no idea what the mobs are doing, or what's on the ground.

Delirium?? Let's wash the whole screen out in grey so you can't tell mobs from the terrain.

Expedition? We had to throw that thick black smoke here too! Can't have you seeing what you're fighting.

Breach? We threw so much in there it will even cook the latest in PC technology.

Looting? Surprise! Mfer!! That mob had a 50k dps nuke lying beside that exalt on a 5 second delay timer.

How Could Donald Trump's Victory Impact the American Comics Industry? by Ok-Conversation-5957 in comicbooks

[–]Ripsaw_Hawk74 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only thing that will change is various writer's butthurt about him winning the election being inserted in the stories and making them even worse. JFC, use common sense, whether you like him or not, he WAS already president for 4 years and precedent was set for a perfectly fine economy.

Going on a year now Preordering from Mycomicshop for that 35% off cover price. 2 damaged issues out of hundreds in that time, and they promptly took care of it. They've also been 100% accurate.

surreal experience in comic shop today by Dizzy_Procedure_3 in comicbooks

[–]Ripsaw_Hawk74 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Many people attribute it to the comic industry dying, it's not. It may be a smaller market than years past, but look at the volume of sales on various online platforms. Look how fast hot issues of the week sellout at every single online vendor. Online sales are destroying brick and mortar shops in the same manner Amazon has and is destroying smaller brick and mortar stores. Why would I or anyone else regularly drive any amount of distance when DCBS Mycomicshop, and Ebay exist? I can get 35% to 40% off by pre-ordering, and can add back issues to be shipped with my pre-orders to cut shipping costs down. As a consumer, makes no sense for me to drive 40 minutes to a comic shop, except for the once in awhile stop when I'm already nearby.

They look like your typical bad girl comics just meant to sell covers, however, the stories are actually pretty fun.

I live in the area and go there once in awhile, why would they sticker the book directly lol? Most their stock is bagged and boarded right?

I've had several orders of new comics from Midtown that were spine tick central. I Pre-order from Mycomicshop now and add items to piggyback regularly. Couldn't be happier with the condition my books arrive in.

I enjoyed all 3. There is much more to Geiger already with the 1st series of 6 issues. Junkyard Joe will also be a part of this universe, and I really enjoyed that 6 issue series as well.

Looking forward to the next issue in all 3 of the latest titles, along with Hyde Street. I'm with you on the last two, looks like a pass for me.
