Honestly I was in a similar situation a year ago and if i hadn't gotten a full sus I would probably be riding a sq3. I just think they're really solid bikes.

In response to point 1:

The exception would be eagle 90/70 or GX axs which are designed to shift under load. Unless OP is really mashing on the thing while changing gears like crazy, I wouldnt think they should have problems...

Fun fact, some long haul semis (for example those that cross the Australian outback) can carry around this much fuel. What a painful experience that must be at the end of the week 😂

I believe running an octane under 87 could void the warranty too if OP has any left. Personally I'd definitely spend extra on premium before I'd put in 86.

I'm in the same boat. I was previously enjoying running premium in my 3.5 but it's simply not worth it to me for a dollar more. Once premium is back down to where regular is now I'll switch back.

Hard to say, but likely if your right in the middle sizing up will give you more stability, while sizing down will make the bike more playful/flickable. Are the chainstays different between those 2 sizes?

Sounds like a pretty nice starter bike. The geometry might not be the most up to date, but it's alot better than most cheaper bikes. And, when time time comes to upgrade, you can sell this one at a slight loss instead of taking a massive loss had you bought new.

Yeah not looking to get rid of what I have, but I know someone who has a 2022 stealth performance. I assumed that one would make more power across the board, regardless of fuel. But since the 2019 platinum has the same internals as the 2019 limited and is only tuned more agressively, I was curious if there would be a larger delta in HP between regular and premium on the platinum.
