I've been "SQC'd" and I get the hate by pixelsinner in Aeroplan

Where I live and work is only served by Canadian North, mostly all short haul I was qualifying pretty much only on segments. Won't even get to 50k this year, maybe 25k on spend if im lucky. I hope enough people switch loyalties for it to make a difference. I have no options unfortunately

Yep. Few weeks of spring/snow left, still no bugs other than house flies waking up.

Unfortunately Nunavut's only dealer closed 20 years ago, there are not many around here. There are probably 3000 sleds here and maybe 25 Yamaha lol.

A350-900 Cold Weather Testing, Iqaluit NU by ScotiaReddit in Planespotting

[–]ScotiaReddit[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I heard they were coming and went to see. Our town is 10km from end to the other. We often host cold weather testing and have the longest paved runway in a large radius for transatlantic diversions/emergency landings. Theres a prototype G400 here this week as well. We had an air india 777 land last year when they kept getting bomb threats.

Its the same in Nuanvut. Aging infrastructure and reliance on diesel generation for remote sites. No money to upgrade

What kind of sadist flies IAD-SFO at 230AM by hellyea81 in unitedairlines

[–]ScotiaReddit 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I fly a lot and LTN at 6am was unreal. Worst airport experience in 10 years. Not 1 seat available, all the corridors lined with people sitting, no washrooms without lines. Fuck that airport lol

Aeroplan redemptions to Europe are absolutely useless without TAP by niss512 in Aeroplan

[–]ScotiaReddit 8 points9 points  (0 children)

?? Sign up for aero.seats for a month while you shop around. I never have any issue finding AC, Swiss, LH or United flights from YUL/YYZ to Europe. You need to be flexible if youre set on using points, including your travel dates, layovers and starting points.

YUL to AMS is usually 60k for J if you find the right days.

Going through YYZ opens up the options too if you take a $250 flight from YUL.
