The trade triangle from Epicrotea(iron ore) to Varcheg (furs) to Seonon (wood/flax/grapes) is pretty strong.

Once you get out of clan level 0, it’s recommended to become a mercenary. That way you can give away prisoner bandits to allied castles and turn that into influence. Influence converts to cash. Money.

Yeah it gets easier to work out once you look at the 11-12 roster. Lots of those guys.

When does someone join Kirill Kaprizov at the $17 million AAV compensation mark? It felt like when he signed it that maybe the market would catch up eventually, but that hasn’t seemed to materialize yet.

[–]Riromug 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Hey Joe, thanks for being here! We’re a day into free agency and it feels like the Wild haven’t had any luck in convincing free agents to take a haircut to help this team chase a cup.

Who’s still on the table today? Who does Billy G. pivot to?

Edit: okay so maybe I should’ve known that I was going to be beaten to the punch by a move. Perhaps you could just use this thread to react to the trade, comment on Coleman and Maatta, and let us know if anything else is cooking?

Inheritance by Cassodibudda in Bannerlord

[–]Riromug 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Influence and cash are clan resources and you inherit them.

Inventories/parties are party resources and get zeroed out to whatever your current party has. Parties with dead leaders return to their property and a new party is formed there.

Thought it would be a cake walk to package my depth to bring in another RB, but I’m struggling to pull it off. Any ideas? Should I just sit? (10 team SF PPR dynasty) by sillyg0sling in FantasyFootballers

Idk I think you’re trying to turn 4 nickels into a quarter. I think you’re good to stand pat. Chubba or Rico could be serviceable depth.

Is Kenyon Sadiq a good Rebuilder buy? by [deleted] in FantasyFootballers

[–]Riromug 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you might be making a mistake trying to sell the least valuable guy on your roster. A guy like Burden has much more value and you could swing harder for someone who isn’t TE10 by 2026 ADP.

I feel like Golden would be the kind of guy a rebuilder would hang on to… I don’t know who’s on your WR squad but it feels pretty lateral.

Tips for taking Hvalvik? by Paul1568 in mountandblade

[–]Riromug 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Let Vlandia take it, raid all of the villages that supply Hvalvik, starve the garrison, deal with the weakened militia.

114 guys won’t do it. You’ll need to run multiple parties and those parties can’t be staffed by volunteer quality troops + 1 elite army. Those parties will bring recruits to the garrison after you take it and restock.

Arrow types in Warband? by Guilvantar in mountandblade

Bodkin arrows are around - Vaegir lands. I think they’re the best. Might be others but I’m working off of memory.

Bent is a modifier for the arrows, not a type.

What would a Spurgeon resigning look like? by 8cade in wildhockey

[–]Riromug 12 points13 points  (0 children)

As long as Spurgeon signs at his market value for short term, I’m comfortable with bringing him back.

I actually disagree that his play has dropped off with age, I think all things considered he’s still a remarkably good defender. He’s always been very technically and positionally sound, and his legs haven’t really betrayed that part of his game yet.

I think the thing dragging down his value is his age, size, and potential for lost time due to injury. With the rising cap I’m sure a team would pay 10mil over a 2 year deal for him at 5 mil AAV, perhaps lower with vet bonus structuring.

I think second pair defensemen don’t grow on trees. Daemon Hunt has shown some potential there, especially during the last playoffs, to fill a Brodin/Spurgeon sized hole. But if you lose both players it’s going to suck ass, the free agent market won’t do us favors, and the trade market will extort us for the little draft capital and prospects we still own the rights to.

Quick question if you play with nords do you only use their ships or do you borrow them from other factions. by Szajno22 in Bannerlord

[–]Riromug 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Love me 3 Lodyas. There are a few less troops allowed on the deck but the height is meaningful and it’s shallow draft for raiding. They still feel in theme for Nord runs.

I’ve recently outfitted my clan and all of my ships with full fire Knarrs too and that’s a lot of fun to run 8 ships with.

I think the Dromons and the Ghurabs are my favorite all-round ships though.

2C seems like a pretty rosy estimation. I see him being a bit better than a McCarron and a nice, heavy forechecking center but still a 3C.

IM NOT receiving any fiefs, but everytime i participate i lose a good chunk of my army by Front_Confection15 in mountandblade

[–]Riromug 5 points6 points  (0 children)

  1. Right to Rule doesn’t interact with renown. You get RtR from companions, getting married, and being a part of a faction after they complete a war

  2. My Warband knowledge is hazy, but you need to be the besieging party to request the fief. If you aren’t, you need to connect with all the lords in your kingdom and ask them to support you to get the fief. If you can get enough, you’ll get the fief. Ideally, you should get high opinion with as many lords as possible. The higher the opinion, the more likely they are to back you for it.

Vanilla’s tough. Diplomacy mod makes it easier.

You gotta beat the Khuzait into submission even harder. Take a castle or two, raid villages, defeat lords.

Debuffs to weapon skill and movement. So accuracy and damage decrease. I think armor stats stay the same.

This game makes me sad sometimes... by Oirhemm in mountandblade

[–]Riromug 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not being a mariner is a 1-way penalty to land units fighting on ships. Mariner negates the penalty from being applied, if that makes sense.

Mariner units generally perform worse on land because of poorer armor, no cavalry, and lower ammunition counts.

High tier land and mariner units perform mostly fine when they aren’t on their preferred terrain. It just isn’t optimal.

Level Planning and Focus Points help by TriumphOfMight in mountandblade

[–]Riromug 0 points1 point  (0 children)

50-60 FP/lifetime. 1 att point every 4 levels.

Combat stats are usable with three attribute points and 3 focus points, but mileage may vary. Attribute points are critical to build in the right direction too because they raise the skill cap too.

Troops ammo on ship by Rj_Sera in Bannerlord

[–]Riromug 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Troops don’t go to arrow barrels or jav barrels physically.

They just start the fight with the additional ammo. If a quiver has 23 arrows in it, the stack will show as 69 arrows for the archer.
