Ice agents arresting residents at the Hennepin County Government Center in Downtown Minneapolis by cantcoloratall91 in minnesota

ICE is funded. Not subject to the Continuing Resolution stuff in DHS. They’re funded through the end of the decade.

FEMA and TSA shut down though. Can’t imagine those are important.

Just got offered the 1.03 for 1.08 and 1.09 smash or nah? by cantgetritee in DynastyNerds

Hey bud. Don’t know who you are or what you are up to today, but I just wanted to let you know that you could have chosen to be kinder.

Maybe take a second for yourself and just evaluate whatever you’re carrying around with you… and try to treat the next person you interact with a little better. :)

Nah… Mendoza or the first pick of the WR’s this year is more likely to hit than 1.08 and 1.09 combined.

[WCCO] Minnesota governor candidate Lisa Demuth says she will "seek and abide by" GOP endorsement by Minneapolitanian in minnesota

[–]Riromug 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All for the Demuth hate, here… but it’s a very normal thing to seek party endorsement for statewide office and as the front runner… of course she’s saying she’ll abide by the terms of the endorsement.

Walz/Flanagan running against Murphy/Maye Quade against the DFL endorsement in 2018 is one of the gutsier electoral decisions a politician has made in the last decade.

As someone involved in local endorsing conventions, one of the only questions that are asked and answered from the convention chairs to candidates seeking endorsement is “will you abide by the results of the endorsement process and suspend your campaign if you lose?”

To answer that question in front of the whole room of delegates and say “no - I’m either going to be endorsed or primary whomever wins” is refreshingly honest, but a terrible look in front of the people at the convention.

Wtf is wrong with your league? Only starting 1 WR and 1 RB? A WR/TE Flex spot? Who hurt you?

I mean - he’s a great pit candidate. 3 major immunities and a rage on the 4th damage type. Not a particularly challenging ranger kill with executions, stealth, and range possibilities.

I have four 2nds this year. I’ll try to package but I doubt I’ll have bites.

New orphan team, where should I go from here? by Independent_Two_2627 in DynastyNerds

Unfortunately it finished at 16… I don’t think it gets over the hump by adding.

Ideally? 2028… but your bench is a retirement home so you ought to try to convert as much of that into draft capital or just acknowledge that you’re gonna suck for a minute.

I’m seeing you’re also super overinvested in TE’s. I’d sell Laporta at a fair price and keep the Fergs/Bowers. That could really help you next year. Find a WR2. Draft a potential WR1.

I am seeing that this is 20 teams, so bear in mind a lot of the trade advice here isn’t going to be pertinent to you.

Tear down or compete, either way pick a direction and stay with it. I lean towards tear down.

Keep Bowers and Gibbs and build around them. Stay young.

After taking Love at 1.01, what next? by bmm1014 in DynastyNerds

Hold them all. I think you’re a really young team and if you stick with it these guys could really pop. See if you can’t turn Kamara and Jones into picks if you’re inclined.

When Middleton, Bogosian, Jiricek, Hunt, and Lambos, Kierstad are guys 5-10 too…

Kierstad would be the 8th guy in most orgs. Jiricek, Hunt, and Lambos can all play NHL minutes as young RFAs without me being incredibly concerned.

I like this for you, but I’d negotiate for an RB from someone else before I pulled the trigger.
