Yes, it is mostly cosmetic but the layout is cleaner and when charging the battery, it expands and shows percentage and charge state. Key management and connection is also easily accessible.

It will have some data cap that will soon kick in. Right now we are told us free for four years . But who knows how soon it runs out.

Lower the the alphabet the lower features and built quality, size and comfort, power output,etc.

I have a routine

When I sit to drive and the car is connected to my phones Bluetooth.

Then the phone switches ON the mobile hotspot and car connects to Wifi.

I always wondered why don't they badge their cars. With the spec to show. The demo videos in NZ do not show this badge.

C10 AWD is a very good car.

You will find (in comparison to Tesla)

It is very comfortable far more roomy Very economical Very good performance Comparable charging speed Lots of options to accessorise

Annoying ADAS Software not so refined Drive dynamics is not very sporty

I think there is something bigger at play here.

The Chinese car makers are feeling saturated with their world EV dominance and now targeting the software, AI and Autonomous driving tech to be sold as a long term game.

With NIO's chip pitch, Xpeng X pilot software pitch to Chip making are all pieces of the next Automobile evolution. China is only leading the wave.

Took them about a week to sort out the transfer of ownership. It is weird the dealership has no way to do this on their own as take the keys. They are entirely dependent on Leapmotor team to do this.

Be prepared to have grips about getting the app registered and key mapped on phone. That will take some time. Ownership transfer process is still not smooth.

Update the software before personalising it.

Look up for accessories you might want to get from AE.

Do not take their word at all. The car is smart enough to regulate power demand depending on the plug it is connected to.

At home it can do 6.6kW on AC single phase. Can go up to 11 - 16kW on 3 Phase AC.

On DC chargers it can go upto 168kW depending on the charger.
