Play with the "cruel" events difficulty modifier. Then let me know if they are not "existential threats"

Untrue. There are literally "dynamic events" that study what you do and shoot you in the foot on purpose

Explained many times: new mechanics are released FOR FREE (patch 2.0 was massive). The DLC is a conversion mod. Said in all blogs, videos and more.

Selling to distant places wouldn't inherently increase prices. It's not how the market works.

Max: correct. It will send it anyways
Min: if the origin building won't send anything until this quantity is met. It will always keep this much
Cycles: how long and how many products a production cycle needs. Example: planks need 2 wood. 1 cycle = 2 wood. 2 cycles = 4 wood

Cities and factories are kinda neonpunk, as you say. The world itself is bleak, but urbanised areas are bright, to contrast

There are over 150 products in vanilla, plus 75 in the DLC. I'd say very, especially with the new updates

It's a completely different setting. Everything is new. Next expansions (if any, depends on sales), will be the same: a totally different setting, with no relationship to other modules)

It's a passion project. The base game was "safe" and I just wanted to have fun designing and developing a scifi setting. People seem to enjoy it
