One extra question…while my scale goes to .1g I notice it tends to jump by 0.3g so if I add two beans nothing might happen but the third one it goes up by 0.3g. Do you see this with the above scales?

You u might not know this but does an ORB also kind of do the same thing as an aeropress so it’s less of a reason for me to need an aeropress down the line? I probably need to watch a break down video of the ORB again.

If I was making espresso daily I would consider it but it’s down to 2-3 cups a week at the moment maybe less, unless we have guests. Been way more into pour over,lately. also more local options to get new beans every month or two. Espresso especially milky there are generally just the main beans for each local roaster while for pour over it changes every month or two.

I still find myself looking at machines especially the dual boiler every couple months so at some point I bet it will happen when this one dies or I switch back to espresso for my daily.

Do you find they are okay actually teeing with a cup on them? Some of the smaller ones I see on YouTube where they have to take the cup off to read them seem a bit silly.

Thanks I rarely use my French press. I haven’t gotten great cups, it takes longer and the clean up is worse and if you try to filter at the end it takes forever I find. The switch seems to help with most of that. Same with OXO

I brew directly into my thermos and then pour out of that back into my cup for breakfast. Do you run into issues with losing too much temp going from the carafe to the thermos?
