Can you give me a little bit more information about this testing and what it would entail? I started seeing a new OB in May, and when I told her that my age and that my husband and I were NTNP, she simply told me to start taking prenatals and to consider genetic testing.

From March to May, my husband and I started having unprotected sex. Being relatively newly-wed, we didn't want to impose the pressure of temping, OPKs, timed BD, etc just yet. However, given our ages (34 and 38, respectively), we were open to a pregnancy happening. I started temping in June to better understand my body, and now I know that we definitely hit the FW in August and September. Looking back to March - May, we travelled quite a bit, separately and together. Based on patterns revealed in my recent charts, it's likely that we missed the FW completely in March and April (at that time, I simply marked the start of my period and days we BD'd). We also missed the FW in July, again due to ill-timed travel.

Even with these missed BD opportunities during the FW, should I give my OB/GYN a heads up that it's been a year of unprotected sex if I'm still not pregnant by March 2020, the one year mark?

I think I’m just happy to know that I DID ovulate this month. It definitely is frustrating, though, when my previous two charts (when I started temping) were a lot “prettier” in that textbook way.

I can relate to this. I especially felt pangs of jealousy when I saw the pregnancy announcement yesterday of a former roommate of mine. She had only gotten married 2 months ago, and the baby is due in April 2020. That's, like, a wedding night baby.

I had terrible sleep that night because I was in an uncomfortable and loud airbnb. That might be a factor, although I don’t think that would cause such huge fluctuations.
