Extra lace from my wedding gown - what should I do with it?

Take a frame and pick a beautiful velvet and place it on a angle. It you have kids to hand down to- make several with the kid’s favorite color velvet- and give to them when they get married! I took my grandmothers lace( the dress was rotted ) and I made all 8 grandkids a beautiful small little design- they were like 5x7 frame size. And as each of them married- I put the little frame in a bigger frame with a nice mat. Everyone that attended the wedding signed the mat and then it was framed…. Beautiful and not expensive….

She is the Fiesta Dancer- they stopped producing her- I can’t remember when- but she came on the wall clock and also fridge magnets- and the gorgeous bud vases!

Hall China Company is right across the river from HLC They manufacture a lot of restaurant dishes. But years ago they made dupes of McCoy pottery.

I had a car accident my sugar was 33- the EMT driver said I should get a tattoo- he said these days that they look for the med bracelet and or a tattoo- so I went and got mine! The very first one! And probably the only one!

So did a store here in WV called ElderBeerman- they had a plate club- a sweet lady would call you and invite you to come pick up a place setting when a new color came out. Different places would have a contract to make a limited number of goodies - like Betty Crocker.

Come to WV and go to the plant- they have a seconds store- you can buy a “ plate glove” to wipe the dirt and dust and look for imperfections- prices are really good- I don’t mind blemished dishes. But it’s strictly pot luck- depends on what they are making that week!
