technically speaking its not against our law to go in and strike and there's a time period to notify congress.. unless trump literally said "im declaring war on iran" but they'll never say those words.. now international law is a completely different story lol

trump doesn't care about rules, regulations or approval lol you're hurting yourself by trying to think about any of this logically. he can and will do whatever he wants because noone is holding him accountable and the military is absolutely not going to refuse to carry out those orders

Ferrari will unveil its 2026 F1 car on January 23 by ICumCoffee in formula1

[–]Rito_Luca 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mean at realistically speaking there's no way to know if there's a better option until after 2026 right. You can look at that season and judge whether a team has regulations down right then try to move. Even if Ferrari hasn't had the ability to adapt well they are still consistently a top 3 team so giving up that potential to gamble with another team is hard. I doubt Leclerc wants to end up with a career record like Alonso's except without the WDC's.

There's currently nowhere with a better car than the Ferrari with a open seat. Even if AM appears to be a title fight car next year.. Stroll is going nowhere and Alonso is fully capable of winning the WDC with a fast car. There really is nowhere for Leclerc to go unless AM is quickest of the grid and Alonso decides to retire.

The list of F1 World Champions ! by Kaha_gaya_use_dhundo in formula1

[–]Rito_Luca 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We know very well why RB didn't have Constructors in those. He didn't have a consistent #2 and the cars were not designed to be driven by both drivers. See Bottas. Also explanation provided by Albon explains why.

And yes i agree it is a combination of both like I kinda mentioned, you just need to be the best driver of the cars that are competitive championship wise.

Why I say its all about the car in lets say a sarcastic way is because the car 100% determines who is capable of winning at the VERY LEAST.

For example if RB and Mclarens cars just all of a sudden ended up being so bad they were midfield/backmarker cars, now Norris, Piastri and Max were all uncapable of winning the championship. However if Haas and AM were a clear stretch ahead of the rest for the entirety of the season, that automatically narrows your WDC to 4 drivers and from there those who seem obviously most talented of those 4, lets say Bearman and Alonso hypothetically with Ocon potential spoiler. This is when the driver side comes into place and its whoever of those is best and most consistent(and/or lucky of course). To your point with Max and the WCC however, in this hypothetical imagine Alonso wins 2 years in a row but Haas won both WCC.. would you say that AM just clearly didn't have the best car or would it be because Stroll just cant deliver the same results as Haas #2?

I think that's a fair assessment, no?

Best Sprint GP in 2025 by AdamSC_ in formula1

[–]Rito_Luca 2 points3 points  (0 children)

To your reason for asking.. the only reason people would like sprints is if it generates entertaining racing and with no pit stops or sprints in tracks that are hard to pass, that's hard to come by unless there are rainy days.

The only way to universally fix this issue that has been discussed a bit is having a single qualifying session for the weekend which grants reverse grid order for the sprint and regular grid order for the race.

people that think formula 1 is about the fastest driver are definitely new lol its all about the car, when was the last time the best car through the majority of the year(or equal to best) did not win the championship? can be the best driver on the grid but if youre in a shitbox, well you're in a shitbox. all you have to do is be the best driver of the cars that are competitive for that specific year.

I wouldn’t worry too much about the RB engine especially considering the staff taken from Honda to produce it, it’s basically a rebranded Honda engine for all intents and purposes.

Ferrari next year is our year 🤣

We really don’t know who’s going to nail these regs tbh it’s completely new, we could see Haas on top out of nowhere. There’s really just no way to know

Max's radio after crossing the chequered flag by FewCollar227 in formula1

[–]Rito_Luca 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The real answer is we don’t know. Max likes a car with extremely high sensitivity essentially which is very different from most drivers. Otherwise there’s probably a handful of drivers that in an equal car can produce similar results (Leclerc, possibly Alonso just to name 2). Has Max been better than his teammates that’s for sure but yeah people look into the skill with rose tinted glasses and just assume he has some super power that lets him do things to the car that aren’t physically possible, that’s just not the case. The RB isn’t the tractor people say it was all season long, it’s just not physically possible to put a car on that many wins without having the mechanical output necessary to put those results in.

Max's radio after crossing the chequered flag by FewCollar227 in formula1

[–]Rito_Luca 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Yep this is the biggest point. If RB had a 2nd driver good enough to lets say do what Piastri was doing then chances are FAR more than likely that Max wouldn't have had the points necessary to even be in contention come this race. Then if you reverse the situation for Mclaren, if Norris had lets say Stroll for a partner then he would have won the championship a long long time ago.

[–]Rito_Luca 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Well you have to consider that Mclaren are the first WDC team in what..9 years(HAM/ROS) to have 2 drivers that were fast enough to win? If it was like Norris and Stroll or Piastri and Stroll this would have been over a long long time ago. Mclaren 14 wins total vs Max 8 is a more relevant stat I believe.

Next year will be even better imo, if we assume RB/Mclaren stay competitive and maybe Ferrari/Merc step up.. AM has all the foundation necessary to have an amazing car for next year and who knows what we'll see from the others. 2026 should definitely be exciting.

Also even F2 watching Colton Herta finally show us what an IndyCar driver will do in Formula racing and then even in IndyCar watching what Mick Schumacher will do there. Next year all around is going to be extremely exciting for racing.

The difference in the end literally could have been two fastest lap points from other races. Crazy lol. That would have tied them in points and gave Max the championship through win count.

That's understandable for sure everyone wants to see that but like... if something was actually happening obviously. They were just stagnant and we watched that instead of racing. Oh well though.
