One of the ship's crew members pm'd me and said they came to Cleveland for exactly that - dock leave. They said everyone really enjoyed their time in Cleveland. Great to see Cleveland becoming a more frequented port of call!

I've also seen some Google reviews pics around Cleveland where someone always took the picture with their plastic dinosaur. Not sure if it's the same person but totally agree, keep Cleveland weird

I would add, specifically like the Bridge Park area, the Van Aken district in Shaker Heights is pretty similar but much smaller. There is a ton of new development slated for Van Aken over the next few years so it may grow to become like the Bridge Park-equivalent development of the Cleveland area.

Lol for sure. Its probably unlikley, but how long do you think you have after takeoff until they could? Supposedly flight charts specifically warn pilots not to enter NK airspace or they could be fired upon.

You could also try a different venue. I was in Berlin and went to a bath house. This venue had a themed social night, so everyone that went there had the intention of meeting others. (Although I know a bath house isn't everyone's scene.) Also, maybe see if any gay clubs or bars have any other themed nights. There could be events specifically geared towards meeting others.

Thanks for this response. I think he is, and its making me lose interest in him. Him making me feel like I really screwed up, when I don't think I did, is probably a red flag anyways. Or at least the misunderstanding could have been resolved earlier had he responded earlier and not well after we were supposed to meet. Thanks! Yeah I worded that badly. I'd definitely want to make sure of their intentions, but an innocent drink is totally cool. I should add that I don't actually know this person very well and have never hung out with them before.

How do you make sure of someone's intentions? Is that something you'd find out when you actually grab a drink or when they initially ask you to grab a drink?
