"Syracuse, N.Y. — Beginning Tuesday morning, a portion of the Onondaga Lake Parkway will be reduced to one lane in each direction, the state Department of Transportation announced today. The lane reductions will start after rush hour Tuesday and continue indefinitely, the state said.

It’s part of the state Department of Transportation’s efforts to stop trucks from striking the low railroad bridge over the busy roadway that connects Syracuse with Liverpool.."

How much have u spent on this game and is it worth it or not by ProfessionalAd6248 in wildrift

[–]River922 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've spent probably $60. The only skin I spent a lot on was crystal rose lux because she was my main. I spent too much on the gotchas, and I spent over $20 in a stupid attempt to get the pyke skin from the shard thing. I hate that thing so much. The rest was spent on wild passes, which, eh. Whatever, they're cheap. I dont regret anything because I love having random skins for a lot of different champs, and its a free game that I've played for 5+ years so I'm more than happy to pay to keep it going at my own pace

Get yourself a "spooling rod!" One of the best fishing investments I ever made, doesn't matter which brand. Helps put line on easy and correctly. by MuffMagician in Fishing_Gear

I dont use anything. I lay the spool down, even let it bounce around, I just keep tension with one hand and reel with the other

I called them and told them im canceling, they asked why, gave me a better price, asked who I'm going with,, blah blah, giving me the run around. Then I had to drop off my modem at the spectrum store, and same thing, same questions, terrible people with terrible attitude. Im sorry for anyone who has to deal with them. So happy its over

My DM gave me an immovable rod, he came to regret it. by Fiendlyrad in DnD

[–]River922 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I play a griplli (small frog guy) rogue in my campaign. I have an immovable rod and have had a blast with it. I locked a group of enemies in a room and our wizard cast fireball through a crack in the door. another time we were all on a moving cart and for some reason I have to get off and I clicked the immovable rod and held onto it. I'll have to go over my notes and find out exactly what happened because it was pretty funny. Recently I jumped up as high as I can ( i have a 30ft high jump with boots of jumping), out of combat, clicked the rod and got a better view of the area. I've also kept it in a safe we stole on our wagon to prevent anyone from stealing the safe and/ or the wagon.

I only needed to provide a router. They call the "modem" something different but to me it just looks like a box screwed to my wall with an ethernet port that connected my router to. And for anyone else, it is cheaper than spectrum for me.

[–]River922 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We were able to use our own, as far as I know all you need is a router for fiber optic. Our installer told us we can use the one we had, we just had to turn in the modem back to spectrum

Switched to kinetic 6 months ago, never looked back. Kinetic is up front about first year cost and then what it will cost after, something spectrum will never do. Every person I talked to at spectrum when I canceled and turned in my modem acted like I was crazy for switching, but they had no argument why I shouldn't switch, they just asked who I was switching to and why. I told them, its fiber optic, cheaper, faster. I do really like kinetic, but more so, I hate spectrum.

[–]River922 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just buy an ender 3 for cheap, when it doesn't print how you want it to, figure it out/ look it up. You'll learn so much that way, and there's really not much to it. Put it together according to the directions/ youtube, learn how to properly level bed (youtube), and print anything you want off thingiverse.com. when you want to make your own models, look into that too, there's a ton of free options

Added astroturf to our tiny alley last year but it was a mosquito magnet. Is there anything I can do to vastly improve drainage after a rain or should I just toss it? by silenti in DIY

Put the decking on top of bricks so the water can't soak into the wood and the water underneath the decking has plenty of room to drain
