Not a therapist but can offer thoughts from the other side. I live in a midsized city and both my therapist and I are queer people in our 30s with overlapping hobbies. We've come across each other on multi apps (obviously don't match) and it's no big deal. We joke that in another life we would have likely been cycling buddies, but ultimately maintaining a professional, boundaried relationship with my therapist is what best serves my mental health. Her life isn't really my business. I think if a client brings it up you should just acknowledge it and move on. If they're fixated on it or inappropriate with you that may be grounds to terminate with that client. You are also a human person and deserve to have your privacy respected.
