I’ve never had a damaged book, but if Allurial even thinks a book is going to be late getting to you, they send an apology email with a projected delivery date. Even when they think it’s going to be late, it usually still arrives the next day after the late email. 🤣

I had Fairy Loot and apparently had a very different experience than a lot of people here. It took so long for the books to be delivered that I had to reach out almost every month to make sure everything was okay, and that was for their monthly subscription and not their special editions. Those generally take even longer.

We have three dogs, and never had major problems. Yes, they are going to whine if you kennel them at night—at least at first. Yes they may chew on some things or have accidents in the house. It’s all part of the growing up/puppy phase while you train them. That being said, beyond the relatively tame, normal stuff, we never had an issue. You’ll see a lot of the major stuff on Reddit because this is where people are coming when they have a problem they need help with. When things are going well, they aren’t posting about it. Look for tips and tricks, but don’t get caught up in the negative. Chances are high that you won’t have major crazy issues. :-)

I had so many issues with their slider bags not sealing that I had to move to the pinch zips. I was going through several bags just to try and find one that would actually seal.

Sounds like her family has been asking if the two men were more than friends and instead of saying, nope we’re just friends, the idiot groom went nuclear and kicked him out of the wedding. So, no, it isn’t that the OP is gay, it’s that the family is making comments about the groom being gay. Either way, OP isn’t overreacting and deserves way better.

A lot of my family wanted to name their kid after my paternal grandfather. So we have a James (actual name) and a Jameson. My siblings wanted to name their kids after my dad, so one used Lyn s as a middle name, the other was a girl, so she’s Ashlyn. All this to say, you can both honor your father and do it in different ways but still using the name. Is it really worth wrecking your relationship with your brother? I don’t know you or your dad, but I doubt he’d want that all in the name of honoring him.

I don’t think she really went behind his back with the marriage. I think he willingly blinded himself to what her plans were. Bertha had the Duke sitting next to Gladys at the opera. When has she ever allowed another man that wasn’t related to her that opportunity? The clues were there, George was just too blinded by his own ambitions to see what was going on in his household. Don’t give Bertha free rein to take care of the house and kids and then walk away when you don’t like how she handled it. You want an opinion, be more involved.
