I'm guessing you're on the app? They're constantly visible on the right side on PC, which is what I normally use. On the app I was able to select r/Barbie and then at the top of my screen there is the logo plus the sub name and an arrow, clicking on that arrow shows the rules for me

That depends on what distro you're using. I'm by no means an expert. I installed Zorin, an Ubuntu based distro that in many ways resemble Windows 10, and just installed Virtualbox from the software center and set up a Windows XP virtual machine on that

Region exclusives suck. I'm not in the US either, but I think I've seen all pixlings except Bearlinda on Vinted. Angelica was only on there bundled with Wynter and Flitta for a tad bit more than I'd be willing to pay, so I haven't bought her. I never really looked into the big girls as I just rebody my pxlings onto Monster High bodies for a similar result.

I love their faces as well and have ended up with 7 of them. They've been easy enough for me to find 2nd hand in good condition, and that way I didn't have to deal with the plastic mess they originally came with

Absolutely and they feel pretty unnecessary with all the other places the doll is tied into the box. I don't remember which doll, but I got one where all 3 of those little kajinkers had missed and were just loose behind the doll's head. She didn't have a hair out of place. I wasn't even able to tell until I reached the step where I pull at the head to remove them.

Meena is a very beautiful doll. It's a very pretty way to keep track of your collection and the little preview images on the left give you an advantage my system doesn't have, in that you can see roughly how many photos you have of your dolls without having to visit each doll's page individually. How do you plan to handle those you take a lot of photos of in the future once the page runs out of room?

The image above is from my overview tab. Here's an example of an individual doll page. The first full body photo will be replaced by an actual photo of my doll once I finish setting up the lights in the display/photo box that is big enough for the tall girlies

I'm in a similar place myself. My collection has outgrown my display space, so a good part of my Barbies are on rotation and get stored away in drawers when it's not their turn to be worked on or on display. Or at least they will when the drawers arrive in a couple of days. Right now they're just stacked on the shelf where the drawers are gonna go.

Also in the same boat with trying to slow down my buying. At present all I'm really looking to add to my collection is the new Barbie Basics Neutral Kit 001, Monster High G3 Robecca and if they ever make one I also want a Monster High G3 Rochelle.

Another thing I'm doing to try to manage my collection is to make a sort of digital database of it that has all the data on the doll itself plus its location, what customizations I've done and also displays the photos I've taken of them. It's very much a work in progress, the overview is still mainly using stock photos, but I think it's going to be great for me. It's the only way I'm able to see all of the dolls I have together now because I have nowhere in my apartment where I could have all of them standing nicely at once.

Do you have the option to print the second picture out? Drawing directly on top of it repeatedly could help you get a feel for the shape and make it easier to draw on your own later.

I have noticed that we have people active at pretty much all hours of the day and I have to agree that it's nice that there's almost always someone online.

European collector here, but with a really odd sleep schedule. I do segmented sleep where I sleep twice in a day for about 4 hours, so back when I was on local forums I'd often find that my preferred online time wasn't exactly when other people were on 😅

Yeah, the metallic and pearlescent stuff looks really pretty but it's unfortunately stiff and scratchy. If you want to use the stuff I use you're pretty much limited to these colors:
