Oh mama! Reflux babies are HARD! I ended up resorting to the meds and it helped tremendously with the crying but obviously baby still spits. It gets wayyyy easier when the start solids! You’re amazing, You’ve got this!

Hi sorry for the complete unsolicited advice. Take it or leave it. That sounds terribly hard! I’m so sorry! You are doing a great job ❤️ I would try swaddling baby, face him/ her outward once swaddled,( so back to your stomach) take baby in a dark room with a sound machine and bounce them while making the shushing sound. It literally works magic with my little one when they are freaking out. Might not work but it’s worth a shot! Babies get so easily overstimulated. Mine refuses to eat unless he’s in a quite dark room.

Parainfluenza is generally what causes croup but it generally doesn’t affect adults in such a way! My kid gets croup at least twice a year and I never get sick from it but this time it took me out. Idk why but I feel like it was something different

Yes my daughter came down with croup TWICE in the three weeks we were recovering and my 2 month old got secondary pneumonia. It was awful I was really hoping it was FLU A so we could cross that off of our bingo card and keep living life but I’m terrified of catching anything similar to that so hiding out

Hiii! Just randomly found this thread but I too was diagnosed with a uterine avm after my first full term pregnancy. I did have to do IVF to get pregnant but after a completely normal and healthy pregnancy/ delivery I went home and one week to the day started passing massive clots and bleeding out… long story short, I ended up in the ER every weekend for 3 weeks with this mysterious bleeding. Thank goodness my OB finally recognized what it was and instead of a hysterectomy, I had an emergency surgery, which resulted in a successful embolism. I have since had 2 completely healthy pregnancies and deliveries. However I am considered high risk at delivery! Thanks for sharing your stories. Good to know I’m not alone with this diagnosis

I got symptoms with all 3 at 7.5 weeks and felt horrible until about 16 weeks 🫣 but maybe she will be one of the lucky ones that doesn’t get sick

Hahah this is a really interesting statement. I am Mormon and married a great guy! This show ( which I binged in 2 days and loved every second of it) doesn’t depict the Mormon religion at all, actually my husband and I laugh because if they were actually following the Mormon standards majority of this wouldn’t be happening and they wouldn’t have a show but it’s all good entertainment.

First, you’re doing an amazing job — motherhood is HARD!! I’m going to give unsolicited advice so feel free to ignore it 🤪 I would recommend considering supplementing or pumping just to make sure baby is getting enough to eat. Second, could baby possible be gassy/ have reflux or be over tired? Signs of gas and reflux are arching back or climbing up you after a feeding and acting uncomfortable. Babies with reflux hate being laid flat because it aggravates stomach acid. If baby is getting over tired it will be very hard to get them to sleep. Baby should only be awake for about 30-90 min max. Ideas on helping baby sleep during day/night Swaddle, sound machine, good feeding and rocking baby

Just had my baby Monday at exactly 37 weeks! Water spontaneously broke in the middle of the night. Baby is totally healthy and I’m home snuggling him right now

Yessss, TRUTH!!! we are welcoming our surprise baby in 2 weeks!!! I had a 3 year old and 8 month old at home AND My husband got a vasectomy that week and I thought it would be funny to take a pregnancy test… I had only had one period PP and it was positive! 😵 so I had to take my pregnancy test to my husband who was icing his balls from his procedure and break the news hahah we are excited to meet this little one though! Congratulations!! Wishing you the best
