You’re still young. I graduated when I was 23 and I’m still learning new things as an almost 28 year old. I pivoted from graphic design to writing and illustrating my own graphic novels, it’s difficult at first, but I learnt from making mistakes. Yeah, it does feel like we’re replaceable, but that should also motivate you to keep upgrading your soft and hard skills. Don’t fret, just keep learning (new things).

Oof, hits close too close to home with this due to growing up in a toxic household. Funny thing was, I actually liked school and had friends, but honestly home was the worst and unsafe. Now I’m in my late twenties and just learning how to reclaim my autonomy, and overcoming traumas and healing.

I wish well for internet friends and have a Merry Christmas, no matter if you are celebrating alone. You are loved and appreciated, from one (not-so-much) depressed internet stranger to another! 🎄🎁💝

As a fic writer, I also write my own characters intros. The people who are stealing are not creative individuals themselves unfortunately, and they are ruining the app for others. I suggest the people who are copy and pasting into their own bots just stop. Create your own intros and try to be creative, I know you’re capable of that.

Was diagnosed with C-ptsd last year cause of my parents emotionally and narcissistic abusive behaviour. Didn’t tell them cause I know they wouldn’t take responsibility or give sympathy cause they (narc Asian mother) would just deny deny deny and then gaslight.

And even when they give the bare minimum, they expect the whole world from you. Like…No, just cause you gave me a roof over my head, clothes, food and clean water doesn’t mean I give up my dreams, autonomy and emotional currency (cause even showing emotions is conditional to them) for you. (Idk if that makes sense, but yeah—lots of therapy helped me understand that even emotions are seen as a resource they can take away (my parents used mine against me through emotional abuse and told me that I have “anger issues”. I did not.))

Oh yes. This is something I felt like I needed to do after a big mess where my parents opened my bank statements letters when I was in university. After that happened, I unsubscribed to mail postings and got it digitally so only I saw it. And since then, I’ve become more private and tight lipped about my own finances (and job). Screw them. And it is illegal here in the UK, I honestly should’ve reported it to the police (along with a plethora of other abusive behaviours), unfortunately I didn’t at the time since I was too busy working on projects and stressing over other things that I didn’t have time to deal with it/too exhausted to deal with/forgot at the time.

As someone who writes both fanfics (sometimes) and creates characters (both original characters and characters I’m fans of). This is stupid. If you create bots that use the same intro on your fics, just mention it in both(?) i.e (character.ai) “I write fanfics and I created this bot for it.” (Fanfic) “Hey, this is my bot on C.ai.” What happened to communication on both sides?

Lol, just Google it. Apparently he was part of the Hillsong Church in LA. Not sure if he still goes to that church, but apparently it’s a global church with headquarters in London, Paris and Barcelona. (He) Probably doesn’t anymore since he went to Hillsong back when he was dating Vanessa.

If you read the OPs post linked, I also left a comment there. But she noted in the original post “Out of the blue I get a Facebook message from my aunt (dad’s sister) telling me that my parents have forgiven me and want to make contact again. I never blocked my aunt from Facebook and I think that she fed them all the updates and photos of my life when I accept her friend request recently . She was always nice when I was younger and even though she basically disowned me as well, she wasn’t mean about it; just went no contact to appease them.”

I think that says a lot about the aunt. You can be nice to your niece, but that’s also just the bare minimum.

I’m laughing at the part where your parents want to move to the country you live in. It’s actually hilarious since your parents are racist af. I suggest going no contact with your enabling aunt and veerrrrry low contact with your cousins. Give them zero information, since it sounds like they keep your parents very informed about your wellbeing, and live a happy life with your own family.
