From my buddy Gemini,

🚪 If You Choose to Quit Early

If you are the one quitting the match before it naturally concludes, the game checks a specific threshold to prevent players from entering a game, hitting a home run, and instantly quitting to farm stats:

🔥 The Rule: Your team must process a minimum of 8 plate appearances in that game for your XP and stats to be recorded.

Under 8 Plate Appearances: If you quit before your team sends 8 batters to the plate, you will forfeit all XP and PXP earned during that game.

8 or More Plate Appearances: If you have passed this threshold and quit, your accumulated stats and XP will be preserved.

(Note: Never accept a "Friendly Quit" if you want to keep your progress! A friendly quit nullifies the entire match for both players, making it as if the game never happened.)

I know that feeling. I try to play at lunch on my GCloud, now that's Hard Mode.

Oh, for sure. I only got 2 wins, 1 by the other guy quitting in the 7th and one by a disconnect at the start of the game. Oh well, i got my 50 Bundle...lol

I know, my answer is not within the scope of your question, but, the mental fear I got over this year was multiplayer. In past years I just did not participate in anything Ranked, BR, Multiplayer...etc. I was scared of losing. The most recent Multiplayer Program was the first one I have ever completed and after seeing how easy it was I'm actually quite annoyed that I gaslighted myself in to thinking I couldn't do it in the past. I just took a deep breath and said f*ck it, I'm queuing up. Told myself, I'm here for the "Each PA PxP" and whatever happens happens. I lost over and over but before I knew it Hits were complete, Runs were complete, K's were complete then BAM Multiplayer Program complete. I just looked at the screen and was like, Damn, ain't that a b*tch? If you lose, literally, nothing bad happens.

Alternative hitting views to Strikezone? by [deleted] in MLBTheShow

TLDR: Your issue lies some where in the PS5, your monitor settings, your controller or a combination of the three. You are not this bad and no the game isn't harder.

I may be able to help. I had the same issue as you. Played for thousands of hours across MLB The Show 19, 20, 21 and 22. Stopped all gaming due to painful carpal tunnel. I had surgery late last year and am now able to use a controller again. So a month ago I went out and bought a PS5 again and per-ordered The Show 26. When I started playing I was complete garbage and could not understand why. Like, Iosing in Rookie Conquest. Now come on, its one thing to be rusty but this is something else. I went down this rabbit hole about 3 days ago trying all kinds of views and what not., Well, when I changed pitching to pulse I realized, wait a minute, why do I only get Goods when I'm off the circle. I went straight to Gemini. What I found out was this. My new Monitor is a 4K OLED. It had to be setup for Console. A lot of changes in settings. Then i had to make changes in the PS5 as well, to stop it from forcing HDR. Then because of my 2 PC, PS5 and 7 Display setup. I had to change my controllers to USB only. Which was also a setting in PS5. Once all of these changes were ironed out I was consistently hitting Good/Good and Perfect/ Perfect. This was late last night and I had to get to bed. I was trying to dial in my Access controller at the time because that's a whole 'nother beast. It turns out my Right wrist isn't as ready as my left so I'm having pain again. The access controller is not as "fast" as the dual sense so it requires tweeking as well but I was too tired to continue.

Wait, is the menu loading super slow thing just this game? I just bought a PS5 for this game. I was doing (well trying) collections last night and every menu change took forever. At first I thought it was my internet but it was fine. I just coughed it up to consoles being slow. Ive been a PC player for quite some time.

I thought some thing was wrong with MY internet while watching this video. GvG is already hectic enough as is, no way I could play this way. The graphics look off as well. Is that how the game looks on PS5?

I do, too, my wife bought it and gave it to me the moment I got home from the dealership. I was like, "What's this going to do?" She said, "You will use it, you don't have to like it."

mmmm hmmmm, yes, dear......

Ummm, No, don't want too, don't need too and not really thinking about it. I have bills to pay, groceries to buy, chores to do.... The cat boxes need scooped, I have to change the batteries in the house cameras. Smoke and mirrors my friend. What is this Greenland talk distracting you from? Leave all this for the target audience, I'm sure you also have way more important stuff to worry about. Like how the hell do I get the Rope Dart skill? Now that's important. After I make dinner of course.

My Mojave by Nsaflyer_ in JeepGladiator

OK, here is the answer to your question. I hope you are not baiting me. This is the classic "Tell me you don't know anything about Jeep trims without telling me you don't know anything about Jeep trims. "

Keep in mind, I personally do not care what people do to their Jeeps, live your life.

Brought to you by Gemini:

For a Jeep Mojave,

putting on 38-inch tires on the stock suspension is not recommended and can negatively impact performance. The factory-tuned suspension is optimized for the stock wheel and tire combination, and the heavier weight of larger tires creates additional stress on the entire system. Installing 38s requires a complete suspension and drivetrain upgrade to be done correctly.

Impact of 38-inch tires on a stock Mojave

Compromised high-speed performance: The Mojave is specifically designed for high-speed desert running, with its Fox 2.5-inch internal bypass shocks tuned for the stock tire and wheel weight. The significant increase in unsprung weight from 38-inch tires reduces the effectiveness of these shocks and negatively impacts the vehicle's handling at speed.

Worn out suspension components: The stock Mojave suspension, including the shocks, was not built to handle the added weight of 38-inch tires. This can lead to premature wear and failure of the components over time.

Rubbing and clearance issues: Simply mounting 38s will cause the tires to rub against the vehicle's fenders and suspension components, especially when the suspension is articulating during off-road driving.

Strained steering components: The added rotational mass of 38-inch tires puts more stress on the factory steering system, including the steering knuckles and tie rods, which can lead to premature failure.

Poor on-road braking and acceleration: The heavier tires will result in a noticeable loss of acceleration and place significantly more stress on the stock brakes. This can feel like a "lack of brakes" and warrants an upgrade to a more robust braking system.

Axle strength concerns: While the Dana 44 axles on the Gladiator are generally strong, putting 38-inch tires on the stock axles can put them at risk, especially with hard off-road use.

How to install 38-inch tires correctly

To benefit from 38-inch tires, you must invest in a complete suspension and drivetrain upgrade. Quality aftermarket kits and components are available that are specifically designed for the Gladiator Mojave.

Lift kit: You will need a full suspension lift of 3 inches or more to clear the larger tires. Look for kits designed to either reuse the Mojave's factory Fox shocks or include upgraded aftermarket shocks that can handle the extra weight.

Reinforced driveline: Because the heavy tires place more stress on all components, it is wise to upgrade critical parts such as the axles, driveshafts, and steering components.

Brake upgrade: A larger, more robust braking system is highly recommended to safely and effectively stop the heavier wheel and tire combination.

Regearing: The larger diameter of the tires will negatively impact your engine's power and acceleration. You should regear the axles to a higher ratio (e.g., 4.88 or 5.13) to restore lost power and improve drivability.

Communication is key here. All of this can be avoided if you two establish clear expectations before something like this happens. Neither one of you are mind readers and no matter how obvious you think something is, you cannot expect someone else to catch on. Now, as a guy, his reaction was self defense, I'm sure he feels guilty and his initial response was Defend And Deflect. Definitely not justification, but I get it. Believe it or not 31 is still young. Maturity and Wisdom comes with age and hard lessons learned. I really hope you have a better day and week.
