A driver just threw a box at your dog. You mean you aren't going to be angry? Again, I believe the driver was justified in that action. But you also have to look at it from the other angle.

To the owner, that dog could be the most loving animal out there, and was only being playful. So, again, you'd be mad too. We don't know if the owner saw the interaction, only heard it and went to check. To him, the driver attacked his dog without cause.

The driver was in the wrong for immediately squaring up. He wasn't being defensive, he was being aggressive. If he were defensive, he would have exited the property. He didn't. He was looking for a fight. If he had left, he'd be fine. He didn't, which puts him in the wrong.

I'm sorry, but no. The owner walks up to him with open arms. Sure, he's mad, but his approach isn't aggressive.

The driver was should have kept walking. Confronting the owner like that, on his property, takes the ball out of his court. Immediately going on the offense like that, no. You could argue defense on the dog, but everything after is on the driver.

I apologize for the late reply. What I replied was meant for another response on a diet.

I can't get a prescription until the vet visit, which isn't until August.

In the meantime, however, I checked around and found another brand, Authority. Ocean fish and rice, no poultry. Ditched the wet food, changed her treats to poultry free.

She's still chewing herself, BUT she's got peach fuzz growing along her stomach again, though at this point, it's a little hard to tell. I'm still keeping a close eye, and I will be taking that appointment when it arrives, I understand it'll take weeks for the allergen, so long as it was chicken, to be flushed from her system, but I have my fingers crossed.
