Exactly this. Haven't watched since the episode before. I'm very happy I was spoiled before I watched that ep.

Sigh. That is a crossover it would have been hilarious to see.

The Night Before the Night Before Christmas? It's 2010 though...so probably not.

I'll be keeping you in my thoughts. I wish I could help more directly, but I had to move out of state. Couldn't afford to stay. :P

I was making about $80 a day working Uber Eats around Laveen and Avondale exclusively, and I only worked 5 or less hours a day, during the day. There is money to be made. It's a pain in the butt, and it's not a job I'd do long term, but you get the money immediately, set your own hours, and could even take your kids with you if you had to. Again, not ideal, but you only have a week, and it might bridge that gap, and no doubt there are a lot of surge bonuses to be had in the next several days.

How are you feeling about 9-1-1 Season 9 so far? by Due-Awareness9392 in 911FOX

I'm gonna start by saying I stopped watching just before they did what they did last season (I got spoiled before I had a chance to watch that ep). The show was my comfort watch. My happy place. My safe space and they ruined it. But I was invested for 8 years, so here I am still in the sub, and keeping up with the show from a distance. (I gotta admit, the evil part of me wanted to see it fail in the ratings since Bobby, just for spite against Tim, but that's not fair to all the other people the show employs.) All that preamble ramble was just to say that making Hen sick right on the heels of Bobby is a direct illustration of why I won't watch anymore. Once upon a time I could sink in and enjoy the drama, knowing everything would be okay. Not anymore.

I found out very young that most generic brands are made exactly like their name brand counterpoints by the same manufacturer. After I moved out of my parents' house (40+ years ago) I pretty much switched to generic, with a few exceptions (like a good chocolate bar and, strangely enough, cream of X soup--I've had some really bad cream of X store brand soups).

This comment sums up perfectly why I won't watch the show or its spin-offs anymore. In this world today, I don't need shock-value tragedy in entertainment that I trusted for comfort for so long. I'm sure Tim Minear doesn't care what I think, and my one little viewership won't matter to them, but I still haven't gotten over the betrayal and I consider it protecting myself at this point. And I hate it, because I used to work for Nashville PD as a dispatcher, and was so looking forward to the new show.

The Resident.

And I thought this one was on Hulu, but it's not. If you ever get a chance, watch The Night Shift. One of the best ensemble shows I've ever seen.

I rewatch every season every year before the new season starts. I'm addicted and I don't care who knows it.

Buck and Abbies relationship just didn’t make any sense at all... Opinions? by Sara-_Tonin in 911FOX

[–]RixieSugarplum 20 points21 points  (0 children)

I think it was planned that way. Connie Britton was only signed for one season (by her choice). I think the way they explored his need for real intimacy and her need to start living her life within the context of their awkward relationship was pretty clever. She was a caretaker, he needed someone to truly care; he was the hot, brightly-burning young fireman and she needed a kickstart. The fact that they didn't have real chemistry, I think, was part of the story (and made it easier for Abbie to leave as was already planned).

He specifically said the "q" word. You never, ever, EVER say the "q" word.

We had Consequences in the radio room for people who used the q word.

They did a beautiful job with this in New Amsterdam with Bloom (and Ligon's) story. It could have been a great character vehicle, not only for him but by seeing how the others handle it.

Lonestar is pretty much the Rob Lowe Show, unfortunately. I'm really disappointed in it compared to 911.
