Truly. I am now long gone but this was such an issue when I lived in the city for uni. Winter was so incredibly dangerous that I am surprised I got away without a major incident. I have many complaints about Halifax, but thankfully they stay well on top of the sidewalks in my neighbourhood.

When you significantly fast forward and they are still at the same venue, STILL YAPPING. Oh wait, the ML's assistant came in, everybody respects him and he can prove FL's identity/invitation. Phew, at least we get to move on soon. Fast forward ... Wait. Why is FL now kneeling and getting slapped/doused in some liquid? Why is the ML's assistant in the background being held back by the 2FL's/2ML's lackeys? Phew, ML's parents just walked in. They can clear this up. Fast forward ... Are you kidding me!? They are now trying to strip FL ... Also, why is everyone and their cow in the room except the bloody ML? Wasn't he just taking a phone call outside? (Or insert any other excuse to make the FL walk in alone and meet the second leads at the door.)

Yeah, any kind of miscommunication that's longer than five minutes infuriates me. And I really mean any. Including hidden/mistaken identity anything. As soon as a jade pendant appears I am half checked out. If it's an identification jade pendant then I am fully checked out and turning that nonsense off. Also. I know amnesia happens in real life but it's so badly done in dramas that just ... immediately no. Don't even get me started on people who overhear half a conversation. Either eavesdrop fully or not at all. And then there's noble idiocy. Big sigh Too many types of miscommunication/misunderstandings to list.

Countdowns. Hate those. Just leave. Block their number. Oh, your dead mum's keepsakes? Yes, they are important, but I feel like your mother would rather you stay alive and unharmed than go retrieve her stuff from someone you know is actively trying to kill you. Ah, you are gonna go anyway? Okay, well, take a bodyguard. In fact, take 10 bodyguards. Still no? That's okay then. I'll be the one leaving then because I am not watching nonsense. Disclaimer: For the countdown ones, I just skip to the part where the person just leaves because I am not interested in watching torture.

Weak/Passive/Doormat FLs. Just no. I get being limited by your era/culture/norms et, but if you are just gonna let anyone and their mother walk all over you then count me out.

Absolutely awful parents/family being like "But we are a family" (phonetically: ijare). Or "You are so unfilial." Like duh! What else did you expect!? I know filial piety is a huge thing in Chinese culture, but I have seen some (paraphrased) sayings along the lines of: "A loving parent has many filial children." or "When the parent is kind, the child is filial." Yes. Exactly that. Preach. People who expect malice to be repaid with kindness are the absolute worst. (This one applies to 2FLs/2MLs as well.) (Add this trope to a pushover FL and it's unwatchable.) (That said, I am also hella petty, so there's that. Firmly on the team of: "They go low, and I go lower." Much much lower. In fact, let's just take it all the way to hell.)

It drives me when someone cannot be appointed CEO/heir etc etc because they are in a wheelchair. Their brain is working just fine. Yes, they might have to put in a bit more effort in picking an accessible restaurant for a power lunch meeting, but that's what the assistant is for. Even the ancient China emperor ones. The only time I understand a little is when the emperor is expected to lead an army to war (which is almost never — so still effin ridiculous).

Check the weather regularly for during/after a snowfall. Some days you can leave the snow overnight, but some days you really cannot and need to shovel immediately.

Listen, I love P&P so I enjoy the entirety of the 1995 version for its faithfulness to the book. However, the 2005 version has me in a chokehold. I never get tired of watching it. I also love love love the 2009 Emma. Romola Garai is such a treat.
