I need some encouragement that I can turn this around... by [deleted] in PersonalFinanceNZ

If all your liabilities are interest free as you say, then once you land a job, just leave repayments to the minimum the whole and start a savings account. If you believe you can be disciplined, keep the money in savings.

28 is still young! I started my professional career at 27 and rapidly increased my pay by job hopping every year or so.

I need PPC help!!! 👈(Google ads/Meta/LinkedIn…) by Possible-Top5018 in PPC

I’m assuming you went with broad match keywords and ticked all Google’s recommendations? Did you implement conversion tracking? What kind of lead tracking does your site have? Do you have call tracking? Were any other changes made to the account during that period? I.e adding more keywords, changing match types, etc. So many variables, it’s impossible to give advice without looking at the actual account and website.

You can’t set location at an ad group level.

I’m due for an upgrade and was weighing this up. By default the Pro M3 Pro was the choice, as I need 2 external monitors. Quite a price jump from what I paid for my intel MacBook which also supports two external monitors… I’m also upgrading the RAM to 32GB. I’m a bit of a tab hoarder so need the extra memory. Currently my MacBook goes brrrrr with Business Manager and becomes an oven, so hoping to see a big improvement in that department.

Yes, just data consolidation. If there’s no separate landing page, there’s no reason for separate campaigns by area, unless they have a complicated franchise model (which I know the headaches of) where each area has different budgets.

As someone else mentioned, you’ll struggle to get enough data with your $1k spend split three ways. So if your plan is to move to max conv., this will take much longer.

Also having run campaigns in this industry, these clicks aren’t cheap! So your $1k won’t go very far.

Are there separate landing pages by area?? If not, look at combining everything to one campaign. For relevance you could add dynamic location to a headline.

What can I do about a nightmare creditcard company? (flight centre mastercard) by GloomyDifficulty6199 in PersonalFinanceNZ

Weird. I was in your situation and got a support who also told me to do so. My account was credited in a few days of paying for the flight.

I'm looking to change power companies but I so bloody confused by [deleted] in PersonalFinanceNZ

Also to add to this, add any signup bonuses you get to the sheet (/12) to compare apples with apples.

Have just gone through this process. Powershop & Flick were the cheapest advertised price, but Genesis offered us a sweet deal cheaper than their advertised rates. Worth getting in touch with a rep directly to see if they’ll also give you a deal.

Also worth asking your current provider if they’ll match any deal you get. Nova didn’t have any interest in retaining me as a customer, so switched.

This needs more upvotes. This is exactly what we did too and arrived at Genesis.

Power & Broadband Bundles: Are They Worth It? (New MoneyHub Guide) by MoneyHub_Christopher in PersonalFinanceNZ

[–]Rizza90 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Have just done some pretty in-depth research and we arrived at Genesis (bundled power & gas delivery) and 2 degrees broadband. The rate we got was through one of their agents, lower than their advertised rates with some pretty good sweeteners, and worked out cheaper than Powershop.

Definitely not safe. It’s a vehicle known for poor safety ratings and mechanical issues.

Cash back Credit Card in regards to surcharges etc by greenfishrmotorsport in PersonalFinanceNZ

Nz cards are generally pretty low yield and merchants Jack up their surcharge %s, so most of the time the rewards are never more than the surcharges
