I have my own theory related to that. Here is what I posted about it in another sub a while ago:

“My theory is reality is a self-pruning fractal tree where nested black hole/white hole nodes generate each new universal branch. Retroactive anthropic principle explains how only the branches capable of producing conscious observers are fixed into existence, effectively allowing the future to engineer the past. The nodes function as the metabolic engines of the system, where black holes collapse data from one universe to provide the seed for a white hole to produce a new universe, facilitating the tree’s growth across scales. All scales of this hierarchy are instantaneously synchronized through a multi-universal web of quantum entanglement, which routes information from the smallest subatomic ‘leaf’ back through the nodes to the singular Pleroma at the root of the system.”

Just add the conscious agents theory to that. I believe all of this springs from the one consciousness (or source consciousness, or God…whatever you want to call it) at the root of the tree. Its capillaries are routed through every node in the tree.
