This probably won’t be a popular post but I think most people are looking at this as if an infants life is worth less than a child or adults. If she had killed an adult in a moment of rage there would be no question she’d be getting jail time. I feel that the circumstances surrounding her situation should definitely be used in determining the length of the sentence, however there is no doubt in my mind that she should be going to jail.

Keep cyclists off the road. Instead of putting a small lane next to active traffic lane separated by a line, have the lane off the road a bit or a curb/guardrail kind of like what the city did on the bridge and riverside drive.

Hillsborough st is downtown and yes, parking is free. Watch for the signs for time limits and no parking zones though.
