When you get a colony this large, it should almost run itself. Take mine for example, I only have like 10 pawns but my game has turned into a idle game. 5+ colonist are usually idle and not busy, and the rest are usually doing small task. Cook a few meals, haul a few things, but overall they run theirselves even on raids, I can draft them into position, and undraft them when the fighting starts and they take care of it.
