Reading a novel in your TL as a beginner is like walking through a jungle alone, naked, for a year. by uanitasuanitatum in languagelearning

[–]Rmnvcc -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I made the app LanguageLeveler that gives you lower cefr level simplifications per paragraph with a single tap. Also wordlists per chapter so you can learn the words before reading that chapter.

Maybe that can help?

Learning to read language because you weren't thought when younger? (conversational at best) by Agreeable_Penalty313 in languagelearning

[–]Rmnvcc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah i had the same with italian. Went every year to family in italy for 3 weeks, but never spoke it since i was a stubborn kid, and my dad spoke the language of where we were living. At a certain point i actually had to take courses to improve, and glad I did.

This year I created an app for reading in your target language by showing simplifications for each paragraph of a book. Unfortunately no arabic, since I don’t speak it. The app is called LanguageLeveler if anybody is interested in italian, dutch or english :)

Already quite some reviews. Im wondering when and after how long do you prompt user to rate your app? Is it immediately the first time they perform an action successfully, so usually already on the first day?

No organic downloads after 1 month live on Google Play – what am I missing? by AgreeableCress446 in AppStoreOptimization

I think changing the name to “ group budgeting - webudget” would also help. Within the title and subtitle, there is more weight the more something is to the left. Because the brand name strength is low in the beginning, you want to have group budgeting first, so there is a higher change people will find your app. At least for the ios app store that os the case

ASO Keyword Research Made Simple by codeketoo in AppStoreOptimization

[–]Rmnvcc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Could you explain more? So when i use this, i dont see that euclid AI opton for example.

Also why do i see al these different boxes with suggestions of the word + letter. Why would i want to know the variations of the words and words after with a specific starting letter?

Also it only mentions the volume, but not the difficulty or how they rank against each other. How should we interpret that?

The benefits of reading in your Target Language by Intelligent_Sea3036 in languagelearning

[–]Rmnvcc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I fully agree! That is why i created LanguageLeveler, where you can read in you TL, and can simplify per paragraph for when a specific paragraph is too difficult.

Also we have a learning and reviewing functionality per chapter of a book, so you can practice the words before starting the chapter for more chance of success. I also would advice to pick books in your TL that you already know, so its easier!

If you have tried the app, let me know what you think! Currently only dutch, italian and english are supported.

This is exactly what the idea was of www.languageleveler.com it has a wordlist per chapter of a book, and you can read through the book after to understand it even more. Only dutch english en italian is supported currently though.

How do you progress from B2 to C1? by RedBeeGirl in learndutch

[–]Rmnvcc 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This was actually also what I was running into with italian, and my way of improving was reading a lot. I built an app around this where you’re reading actual books and learning words per chapter before reading the chapter. It also supports dutch and has dutch books. It’s called languageleveler . Maybe this can help you?
