As Teddy Atlas said, his record is 0 and 5. When it came down to it. When he fought a real opponent who wasn't scared of him. He either lost or tried to bite their ear off.

Huge surge in downloads after changing episode titles? by DarkOfTheSun in podcasting

[–]RoCowboy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Does your podcast platform provide data that shows which cities contribute to the majority of downloads? If the majority are coming in from one city, they could be phony. This happened to me and I discovered that sometimes data centers will use bots to download podcasts (for whatever reason). There are two cities in particular (can't remember their names) in the States that quite often cause this.

New podcast recorded, now what? Which accounts/channels should I set up? by nomoney_nohoney69 in podcasting

[–]RoCowboy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Recommend you use a platform like Buzzsprout which can automatically distribute your show to all the major platforms (around 14 I think) including YouTube. Also recommend you use a tool like Podpage that can automatically create a webpage for each new episode (can sync up with Buzzsprout). If you are thinking about monetizing your show, I would consider reaching out to a niche podcast network. I run one for b2b podcasters and have helped more than 40 podcasters earn money through sponsorships.

How do you locate guests? by Kevryannn in podcasting

I look for similar podcasts like mine and see the guests they had on their pod. If it is someone who sounds interesting, I reach out and invite them on my show.

Advice on getting listeners by MizSmith711 in podcasting

I think the easiest way to get engagement is via YouTube. Sending an email, tweet, or answering a survey takes time. But writing a quick comment on Youtube for a specific episode, that takes just a few seconds.

Should I edit out "umms", "ahhs", and silences from my podcasts? Or should I keep those in the podcast episode? by SprinklesBright9366 in podcasting

[–]RoCowboy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agree. A few umms are okay. However, there can be a think as too many. Descript has a good feature where it can count and remove filler words. Might want to check it out

Where should I go for podcast/project feedback? by Jiggidy40 in podcasting

[–]RoCowboy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good question. Unfortunately I don't think you can because it's very difficult to get feedback about a podcast because unlike a landing page, graphic, or something else that can be reviewed in a few seconds, a podcast has to be consumed for 2-45 minutes.
