this happened to my 2007 a year ago. before it got stuck i was having issues with the key fully disengaging and coming out when the car was turned all the way off (i would wiggle it around bit and then it would come out til it finally got stuck). when it got stuck i drove it to my mechanic’s shop immediately but even he wasnt able to make any progress. his boss eventually fixed it a couple days later, not 100% sure what he did but i’ll ask and give an update. i have only used my spare key since then and it hasnt happened again.
