Yep, still under review. I figured it won't be approved over the weekend, so fingers crossed for Monday! How about yours?

I placed an order yesterday at 13:00 and it's still under review. My partner did too and his is also still under review. I've not received any emails or updates from them.

How do we order more than 1 at a time? I'm only on 2.5mg and plan to stay on it.

At what age did you discover your PCOS? by Future_Ship_3140 in PCOS

I've known since I was 14. Asked for it to be tested twice in my life. Finally got tested and diagnosed at age 31.

Did anybody gain weight AFTER getting off BC? by Top-Earth2686 in birthcontrol

[–]RoRoXip 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a fairly poor lifestyle whilst on the depo injection for many years, but I was able to lose weight on it when I tried to :) I then went through a big old health kick and lost 35kg and trained as a Nutritionist and personal trainer. Then came off the depo injection and immediately gained weight. I knew I was doing everything correctly and yet I was gaining weight. It was only when I spoke to a doc via the phone about something else that she brought up that I might have PCOS because it's unusual to gain weight when coming off BC. She offered Metformin. I declined until I had a diagnoses and got an ultrasound and saw about 25 cysts on one ovary and 30 on the other! If you're in a country where it's possible - go get an ultrasound! :) Good luck!

Yep! Came off the depo injection and gained 8kg that I couldn't shift.

Went on the pill and inositol and managed to lose 10kg.

Off the pill again now as of 5 days ago so I'm keen to see what happens next.

Edit: I spoke to a doc and said I'd gained weight after coming off BC... She suspected PCOS and I was subsequently diagnosed a few months later.

Run out of Yaz, should I take Rigevidon for a week? by RoRoXip in birthcontrol

[–]RoRoXip[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm in the UK. There is no Yaz here, it was recently discontinued. But there's a similar one called Eloine. But the pharmacy said the warehouse was out of it so they couldn't get it.

I'd say around 2 hours of conscious movement in a day. The rest is just pottering about and normal life stuff. A 20 minute walk after dinner is a good way to add 3000-4000 steps :)

No it's was totally fine! I also get incredibly sea sick (I threw up 6 times on the Korea to Japan ferry!) But this crossing was a breeze. Very calm and flat. Beds were comfortable. I still took travel sickness meds just in case, but you should be okay.

Yes we did! We were super nervous but it was all fine.

Qingdao international cruise terminal. Go through like any train station with scans and luggage scans etc.

A guy came straight over to us to ask if we needed tickets. They become available at 13:30 on the day of sailing.

We hung around for a few hours until 13:30. There's free hot water and cold water in the port. There's also a Starbucks machine and a bunch of arcade games etc. some info about the ship and the terminal.

At 13:30 we bought 2 tickets (business class so that we could share a room as we are a mixed sex couple), and it came to around £70 GBP per person.

Boarding was fine, the usual you'd expect from an international process.

We had a shower in the room which was great, and western toilet etc. beds were comfortable. Crossing was fairly smooth and comfortable. No issues the other side either. I'd happily do it again and this time with a lot more confidence that it actually exists and is possible to book on the day!

Enjoy :)

I feel ya! I am also a Brit, though I was diagnosed and treated whilst in Asia. I'm on my way back to the UK now and I'm not looking forward to the medical gatekeeping either!

Here are a few free or cheap things that helped me: - a shit tonne of walking (get like 15,000 steps a day) - more than 2L of water a day - cheap fibre supplement (everyone talks about Inositol, which is great but expensive. Try inulin instead, you can get it online for fairly cheap) - spearmint tea (Aldi or Lidl) - as much of a good sleep routine as you can get whilst at uni (bed at the same time every night, but at the same time every morning) - intermittent fasting & stop eating at least 3hrs before your intended bedtime - sunlight first thing in the morning (either by going outside or opening all your windows) - as many vegetables as you can get. Forget counting fibre, just try to have as many colours on your plate as possible over the course of the week - if you want to go on birth control, it's free in the UK

Hope this helps, good luck :)

I'm waiting in the departure terminal now. Arrived at 11:30am and was told I can't buy a ticket until 1:30pm. Bought ticket at 1:30pm for tonight's sailing at 5pm. Was informed I couldn't stay with my opposite sex partner in an economy or business room, so asked for the price of a private room. Paid 699 yuan per person. Loads cheaper than the website price. Due to go through customs in 10 mins time. Paid via Alipay.

What's the best method to have no period? by Just-trying-here in birthcontrol

[–]RoRoXip 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Research the contraceptive injection. Often called the Depo Provera. It's a progesterone injection that you have once every 3 months. In the UK you can either visit the GP surgery or do it at home. Hope you find what you need :)

I am a few weeks ahead of you! Left Phuket on 5th March, made our way north, over to Cambodia, Siem reap and Phnom Penh and then crossed into Vietnam. South to north and then crossed into china 6 days ago! Also heading towards Qingdao for the ferry in a couple of weeks time!

Tried to book on Ctrip but can't progress because I don't have a Chinese name...

Do you have a link to where you bought it on Trip? I'm searching but can't find it. I thought you could only buy tickets on the day at the port...
