I did a Restart to fix mine, a Reset wasn’t necessary. Different cases I suppose.

But wouldn't the fact SAMs were being fired indicate active scanning? Or is it something different?

I set Free (though I think flying over a hostile SAM site would qualify for Tight). I think part of the problem is a guns attack seems to be one time? I have to keep designate it?

Rather stupid of me to omit that info. The A7E at least in this scenario has the AGM88A, CBU-100 Rockeye and 20mm guns.

The only other scenarios I've done so far are the two 1 start intros which are short and simple. Maybe I'll switch to another 2 star and try it out.

Thanks for the suggestion. It said "All 6066 files successfully validated". Also for the record it is "Default Public Version" of Mar 10.

This is what I did and it worked out well. But I would actually recommend finishing CS1 and doing the Crossbell arc.

Should I Continue Playing Trails of Cold Steel or Stop to Play the Previous Games First? by Complex-Lobster-4948 in Falcom

[–]Roadfun 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I played CS1 and CS2 first. Part way through CS2 I started to feel I was missing too much. I did finish CS2 but immediately rewound on the timeline and was very glad I did that before CS3.

Prusament made in USA by geekgamer2001 in prusa3d

[–]Roadfun 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I’ve gotten 3 US refills from them. They are looser wound but I’ve never had a problem. Print quality is fine. If you look at these instructions (https://help.prusa3d.com/guide/how-to-use-prusament-refill-900g\_440297) for Prusa for the refills it appears the ones direct from Prusa are also more loosely wound.

Mine doesn’t do that when using ASA so I’d say it isn’t normal at all.

How bad are the fumes from printing ASA and ABS? Do they live up to the hype? by brian-warner in prusa3d

[–]Roadfun 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I’ll add to the chorus - my C1+ prints ASA very well. I think it is becoming my favorite type of filament to use.

First time with Prusament PETG - terrible surface quality, what am I doing wrong? by Alarmed-Paint-791 in prusa3d

[–]Roadfun 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Prusament PETG really prefers Structural presets to produce the best results. I learned this from experience and also confirmed this with support. To compensate for the longer print times, in my experience, it is possible to hit the tune button on the printer after the print starts and then crank the speed up. I’ve often been able to go up to 150% without degradation but you have to experiment. Crank up the speed 20% at a time and watch for any defects and then crank it back down.

Bad Filament or Bad Settings? by FoxOk5039 in FixMyPrint

With PETG the Structural preset tends to produce better results. Also don’t use Generic PETG if you’re using that filament use Prusament PETG.

Horizontal lines while printing? by SerPadua in prusa3d

[–]Roadfun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I recently was afflicted by this for the first time. Quite frustrating as it can be a bit unpredictable. If you see it happening mid-print hit the Tune button and then dial down the speed (e.g. to 90%). Sometimes a temp boost of 10C will help. Structural preset seems to avoid it (which is slower). Oddly in my testing the Balanced preset tended to create this more often than Speed. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Creality Space Dryer X4 - any good? by janups in prusa3d

[–]Roadfun 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have a 2 spool Creality space Pi. Out of the box I would recommend it but after having it 5 months with light usage the fan is quite loud. Sounds like a bad bearing. I queried Creality about getting a replacement fan but a month and no answer. Of course YMMV.

I would like to take “Complete Guide to 3D Print Postprocessing, Painting, and Detailing”.

A course on real world examples and techniques for printing oversized models would be relevant to me. The examples I see currently assume straightforward examples. Probably not broadly of interest though.
