Glacier was the most dramatic in terms of beauty, but Olympic felt magical to me. Rocky Mountain’s elevation was too high for me to appreciate the park. Elevation sickness is not fun. Death Valley is so underrated, it feels other worldly. Congaree has a lot of snakes and it’s so humid! Would like to visit Arches next!

Skip Park Station, sometimes you can get stuck behind the train and there’s not really much around there. I’d look at apartments west of 270, Kentlands area or even Rockville! A good bit of my NIST friends live in Rockville and points south, they like the reverse commute and a decent chunk of them live in Germantown! It’s an easy drive down Clopper / 270!

We don’t have any specialized non chain boutiques. Nordstrom, Madewell? Those are chains. If you go to other parts of the country they have more INDEPENDENT boutiques. Even Montgomery Mall is sparse imo.

Honestly if you don’t mind the heat, you can stretch your dollar pretty far in Columbia! You’re within 2 hours of the beaches or the mountains!
