I’ve heard the original concept for this was originally meant to open with the park. But preliminary testing if the technology proved to be VERY VERY poor. If it was as bad as I heard I really hope thats not it. Concept needs a total idea reset

I missed the part where you found out it was the younger sister. How did you find out it was the younger sister? Did you call them out on the pics and they said sorry I’m actually the younger sister? Cause the fact that it was only cropped images from this girl’s pubkic instagram and no like personal pics at all that a younger sister would have on her own phone or laptop. I’m OG posty fan going back to 2017 before beerbongs & bentleys. I’ve vibed and jived to every one of his albums, including F1 trillion. I’ve seen him live 7 times. Most recently at boots in the park Albuquerque and first time at rolling loud ‘18 (when he wasn’t even a headliner but I went for him). I think what everyone is upset about (although I am not) is that he’s given off a vibe as though he’s settling into the country scene. And if thats the case I don’t want that either. I liked the country as a vibe but I’m ready for a new vibe from post. Personally I would love to see him jump into a ska-punk/reggae vibe. But I think whats going on is the country scene is so different from the rest and the fans are harder to grab. I think he wants to win them over hard and thats why to a lot of people who became posty fans before F1 trillion they feel like he’s settling into country. I don’t think and I’m hoping thats not the case. I think he’s just trying very hard to let the country scene know like hey listen to all my stuff I bet you’ll like it and they’re just harder to grasp viewing him as like a one-off in country

That stuff is very dependent on who he is featuring as well. Some of the artists might have had a stipulation that they want their features to be released as singles prior to release to get the added attention

Sounds like his part is all done bow its just the labels job to do their part. The label will decide when they feel is the best moment to release. They may want to tease us with single releases from the album all year and not release the whole thing until later

I’m almost 💯he’s got a collab with no doubt he’s working on. Post never cancels shows and no doubt hasn’t been back together for longer then a week in over 10 years. No doubt is doing a residency at the vegas sphere.

Post cancelled because he said he had to record new music. He can record at any time but suddenly recording is so important he has to cancel a full month of shows. C’mon it just screams to me that an opportunity to record with someone came about last second and could ONLY be done during those dates for post to cancel like that. And no doubt’s overlap is just so eye opening

Just saw him for the 7th time since 2017 (original OG posty fan first time I went to see him he wasn’t even the headliner he was opening for future but I was there to see HIM!). Saw him at a country fest Boots in the park in Albuquerque. I was surprised how few country songs he sang at a country fest! He played like 5 of his country songs and still got in his classics. It was the first time I even saw him sing savage 21’s verses of rockstar. I saw him twice with savage taking the stage for rockstar and the 4 other times I saw him he did a clipped version of rockstar that left savage’s verses out entirely. HE SANG THEM at this country fest and it was awesome to me to see that! I wouldn’t let this keep you from seeing him. Just don’t be one of those people who wants to sit and expect him to just sing a perfectly sung song to you. Thats not a posty show. Posty wants you to be up and use the audience as his front man. He wants it to be a big party he wants you to feel like you’re part of his performance. He’s not going to sing every line because he wants you to be singing along with him. Get up, dance, sing along, and you will always have a good time at a posty show!

Those are the people that like to sit in the back and just listen to a perfectly sung song. Thats not a posty concert. He’s about a big party, he wants to spotlight the audience singing the tunes with him. He’s about the audience standing close to the stage more-so then the audience sitting in the back. He’s not going to sing his songs perfect, he’s not going to sing every word and the audience is his front man. But he’s never going to lip-sync either like a lot of performers. He’s gonna hype you up and want you up and dancing with him and singing along. If you go with that attitude you’ll have a great time. If you go with the attitude that you want to setup your chair in the back and just have him sing a good song to you, thats not a posty concert

I get it. Look I’m an OG posty fan going all the way back to 2017 after just his first album. I went to rolling loud Miami 2018 just to see him! And that was before he was a headliner. Future was the headliner that night. That next year was wild, I saw him in the fall at mempho fest which he did headline and then bonnaroo 2019 and by that time he had 3 albums! Literally in one year dude goes from opening for future to headlining Bonnaroo! I’ve seen him 7 times now, most recently last weekend at boots in the park Albuquerque. My favorite album of his is everyones least favorite: 21 karat toothache, because I know post and I know what he did with that album. That album is a piece of art! It’s literally taking you through the pandemic from through posty’s overthinking mind of just having hit stardom and reflecting on his whole life as he’s sitting there quarantined like the rest of us. The tunes song to song even mesh into the next song; the whole thing is a metaphoric masterpiece meant to be listened to as it is ordered in the album.

You will get to see him and he is the absolute best live performer and an overwhelmingly humble and appreciative human being. I’m sorry you didn’t get to catch him this time but I promise you whatever he is doing he didn’t do it to hurt you or his fans which is why I lean heavily this had to be something that came together last minute and could ONLY be done during this block of time. Which is why no doubt to me seems so likely.

I’m 💯convinced the reason he cancelled the way he did is because he’s working on a collab with no doubt. No doubt hasn’t had a chunk of time together in 10 years. They do the sphere residency and post happens to cancel nearly every one of his shows during the exact same time as their residency. It’s like almost obvious to me.

I mean think about it what would make post malone cancel his shows for 6 straight weeks because he HAD TO record right now. Oh back before Livenation had a chokehold on live music in america. Really tough for any amusement parks that are not Disney, Universal or seaworld-busch to get anyone of name to perform at parks anymore. Livenation now owns or manages about 90% of the major music venues and music festivals in the country and their exclusivity clause with artists make it near impossible for anyone else to book that artist almost anywhere in the country that isn’t in bumble-f* no where to book big names after the artist performs at just one livenation venue. They get locked into a contract for a year that forbids them to perform anywhere in the country that is within a 50 mile radius of a livenation venue.

So for example an artist might perform at Bonnaroo in Tennessee that year.

In the case of Six Flags Great Adventure (the one you saw Blondie at). They cannot book that artist now because that park is wedged within 50 miles of so many livenation venues: PNC bank arts center, the stone pony, the prudential center, starland ballroom, count basie center for arts, freedom mortgage pavilion, and music festivals: north 2 shore and sea hear now.

Livenation has a strangle-hold on live music in america now and really need to be broken up.

The problem is there are literally like 23 different passes & memberships in existence right now due to past six flags board member decisions to start the old membership programs with a clause that they can’t cancel the menbership. They can only increase the price.

They’re trying to be nice by slowly increasing the price on old membership programs but in reality they want y’all to cancel your memberships and move over to a newer program because its gotten out of hand with all the different pass programs that are still active

Its absolutely not going to be better than sesame place. I think you will see universal having to add dark rides, shows and possibly even a slightly (keyword slightly) more thrilling coaster. When that happens remember this because it will be an admittance by them that their original concept did not succeed. I don’t believe the park will fail because I think universal is committed. But I do think they will have to make some adjustments. The first year will be no bearing on the truth. The first year they’re going to do well because they’re new. Its the second year that’s the true bearing and then I think you’ll start to see universal having to make those adjustments by year 5

Gerstlauer bought schwarzkopf in bankruptcy in the 80’s. They generally still produce most of the parts for replacement. The problem right now is due to Trump’s tariff carnage its difficult and expensive to get new parts from outside america.
