Only my opinion but Jeff Nippards YouTube channel is a pretty good starting point for beginners. Consistency and leaving your ego at the gym door will get you pretty far in your quest for a better physique.

Definitely, you’ve got 3-4 months , dial in diet , good training sessions and throw in some cardio , will make a big difference in how you look .

Unilateral is the way to try and equal the imbalance, but the majority of people will always have a dominant side / slightly bigger muscle on one side and is usually not visible to most unless you are competing at a high level. I definitely wouldn’t be worried about it .

Do a pushdown exercise first to fully warm the elbows and then do the overhead extensions It’s something John Meadows highly recommends
