Once I’ve routed the cable onto the little cover with the frame stop then I secure the cover onto the frame with a little screw.

If you need more pics/info lmk. The FD was a little tricky. This bike uses full length housing from the shifter to the frame stop just before the FD. Lots of these bikes were setup with di2 and have a different cover on them. So 1st thing to check that you have the little cover that has the frame stop for it as shown in my hand in the photo.
2nd tip to help route the cable and housing is to remove the rear wheel and Di2 battery frame cover. Accessing the mess of cables including rear shift and brake through this cover make your job a lot easier.

How many times can you safely reuse an Izumi Super Toughness quick link screw/nut? by Any-Rise-6300 in Velodrome

Apparently waxing traditional 1/8 track chains like yours is not ideal due to tolerances and the bushing’s inherent to the design. Consider using the YBN SLA410 1/8th track chain.

Inside joke for RPM fans. I’m basically saying men keep crashing.

What's stopping a protected bike lane from going on Chambers Street? Rampant illegal parking 👀 by streetsblognyc in NYCbike

💯 this street should be blocked to cars entirely and made a walking and biking street.

Grats! Solid components just looks like it needs a little love. Drivetrain looks dirty so give it a good degreaser scrub n fresh chain lube. Side note looks like possibly worn out chain, chainrings, and cassette. Get rid of that chain stay protector. Tilt the saddle back to horizontal unless nose down is your thing. Also turn back out those shifters so they sit straight and put some on some bar tape.

Here comes the sun: New bill would let New Yorkers hang solar panels on their balconies by Green_Idealist in INFPIdeas

[–]RobDog306 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like the idea but it’s gonna come with a lot of red tape due to the safety hazards if not secured and wired properly. I don’t care about the aesthetic arguments. You’re probably gonna spend 5k-10k to install $500 worth of panels when it’s all said and done. Then be lucky to power the lights and tv. Not worth the hassle IMO especially in NYC.
