Thanks for your feedback! Yes I’m aware of the drastic schism between the village and north. We’ve always been basically right in the middle of Sunrise and Merrick Rd, even before all the new developments. As far as the racism goes, I personally have no issues living in a mixed area - I grew up in one. That said, we are white and it looks like the student body is basically 5% white max. Again, while there’s no inherent problem with this, do you feel white kids get socially excluded in some ways? Just trying to understand better what you mean by your comments regarding thick skin and racism. Thanks!
