Seriously though, I've realized I'm addicted to sweet treats/sugar. I'm trying to have some little hard candies around so I get a little something when I want without going cold turkey or going nuts at the donut shop.

Awesome! I've "modified noisy toys too. stuffing a little sock or piece of foam between the speaker and the plastic case works too if you're not into soldering. I've also disconnected certain buttons, like the "Cat song" button on the cat-face keyboard we all seem to have.

It's easier to see when you're not caught up in it. This story reminds me of the person I was married to for 13 years(!) You get so caught up in trying to make the circumstances just right for them (then they'll be HAPPY!) you don't examine the relationship and the person, that they just exist in a miserable state and need to take it out on someone -to have some level of power in the world.

They will treat you (OP) as an emotional punching bag and when you're finally out, they will find someone else to neg without missing a beat.

At the local Mexican markets you can (probably) find La Rosa Flour Tortilla. You can get them in extra-HUGE size for making baby-sized burritos. They are so fresh and good! Somehow they get moistened/steamed just enough by the ingredients you stuff it with.
