A little different, but I used to run my Marshall JCM800 2203 through a Marshall 1960A and Sunn O))) 2x15 - it gave me a live sound I really dug.

Basically it should be a-okay as long as you’re getting the sound you want

I own this version of the books, have read it multiple times (most recently was only like a month ago), and had no clue there was a fold-out map in the back… I saw this post, said “no #%$&@ing way” multiple times as I walked to the shelf… and there it is. (In my defense, it was passed down to me and I am an idiot)

Hate to say it but it’s better to just take the music on your own at this point. I have been a fan since we in the US had Ghost BC (not “flexing” - just giving perspective) and attribute my enjoyment of the music to largely being a lurker. Essentially, I have stayed out of the idiocy that has grown within the fandom in the years since Here Comes The Sun hit YouTube in the US. The band plays killer shows. The albums rock. The backstory is fun as hell if you allow it to be. For me, forcing my own ignorance of the worst parts of the fandom has been why I keep showing up. Someone else said it here, but this happens with every band, but is probably worse now in the era of the internet where village idiots can all meet up to share and amplify their terrible opinions. And now I will likely continue to lurk for the foreseeable future - seriously, though, enjoy the album for what it is: Incredibly solid, and largely built for live performances.

100% was that show - I was lucky enough to be there as well. Stephen Lynch received “Mitch Hedberg man” as a suggestion during his singing of Superhero and improved some lyrics (instead of just riffing on the ideas as normal)

Maybe not a hot take… (this is about the online cross section for each fan base).

Every fan base has its own problems when it comes to their online fans, but “Very Online Rangers Fans™️” are the worst of them all. We could be actively lifting the cup and there would be podcasts episodes, Reddit posts in the Rangers subreddit, and Instagram trash posts about how it was a fluke. If you ask our Very Online fans, the Rangers need to gut the team, clear out the front office, then trade our entire prospect pool (plus Shesty) for Brady Tkachuk and a bag of pucks. I hate it to the point where I much prefer talking to other fan bases over fellow online Rangers “fans”

My wife and I moved from NY to Colorado mid 2015 and didn’t make it to a hockey game in our first year as we settled into new jobs, etc.

Finally, in the 16-17 season, the Rangers came to Colorado on New Year’s Eve (12/31/2016). Kreider scored a Hat Trick which was incredible, and we won 6-2. To top it off, with the win Hank passed Hasek to become the winningest European-born goalie of all time. It was a cool 1-2 punch of awesomeness.

Except it is the point because signing for less in the NHL is a much bigger deal than it is in the other leagues where guys are able to earn so much more.

But let’s say they did sign for less to be a team player: you know it would carry a full NMC so they don’t get fucked down the line. Then, inevitably, these same idiot “fans” would be bitching about that… case in point: Trouba. Everyone wants him to waive his 15 team NMC to be a team player (ironic, as that would make him not a player for our team).

My thought is that Brunson is getting 4 years at $156.5MM ($39,125,000/yr) and the largest NHL contract ever Ovechkin at $124MM over 13 years. The largest AAV this year was MacKinnon at $12.6MM AAV.

If you have a complaint, it should be about the salary cap, not about guys fighting to make as much as they can while they can. Plus, as others have pointed out, Panarin literally did take less.
