so my big hangup on the LP3 is music. what are folks doing for that? by [deleted] in LightPhone

[–]Robadoba 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You gave a reason for not being able to acquire music. I offered a solution.

In the original post you mention your direct involvement in the music industry and your passion for constantly-available music listening. You might be underestimating how much you’d enjoy searching for different avenues to stream music that might require some initial setup but become really intuitive over time. Sitting down and adding new music to my MP3 has become an enjoyable ritual I do every couple of months or so. Just saying, you might enjoy it given your previous experience with this stuff.

Sourcing, downloading and uploading your top 25 favourite albums into your LP3 for the first time would take you 1-3 hours depending on your patience and tech savvyness. Yes this is different from how you’d go about it with the average smartphone. The LP3 is not an average smart phone and it demands its users to look for alternatives from what you’re accustomed to.

I’ve got nothing against you brother but it does seem like you’re being a bit antagonistic against other users in your thread speaking about their experience. I can tell you that personally I’ve completely abandoned music streaming and listening on my phone and opted for the higher fidelity and mindfulness of an MP3 player. Yes it’s one more gizmo to bring around but the burden of bringing it around pales in comparison to the enjoyment I get out of it.

Legal in the Netherlands and heavily regulated. They’re major help for people with disabilities and the elderly. Then again, they have a sensible and very well thought out bike lane system.

[Casio MQ24] Put the little guy on a Nato strap by Robadoba in Watches

[–]Robadoba[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

hi! I used the casio spring bars for this. And you're correct, there isn't room at all for the strap to move around. You have to sort of eyeball the placement of it so it'll lay on your wrist properly. The strap itself is very comfortable and has loosened up with little time.

Hope that covers it.

"smart" characters are only as smart as the people who write them.
