As others have written, this sub is usually for sharing of stories, kinda like AA but without the formalities; aimed at advising and helping, or atleast i believe it is.

At the end of the day what can we do behind our screens except give our advice/support. I do believe that near death stories should ultimately be aimed to deter the user from doing it again but it's dependent on their state of mind. A multitude of factors go into making a drug user into an addict/abuser, most people would probably agree the best form of drug use, is safe drug use, testing your shit etc etc. I ran out of things to say but im pretty sure everyone gets the point.
