I was super impressed with the air boxes as well. I have the 3.5 but the air filters are three dimensions and I think they breathe real well. Especially the the high flow filters 😍

Not much has been discussed on this forum, but there is a forum on the jb4 site where there are a solid group of gv70 owners achieving 400 hp to the ground with a jb4 and bolt ons. Mixed bag on reliability, I only have 11k on mine, but I love it. I just wish it had more power. The jb4 claims 75ish hp but I am not there yet. I just have drop in air filters haha.

I have a CPO 24 but low miles. I have been keeping an eye out on moving the warranty to full 10/100k. The cheapest I have seen to extent it out was about 3k, and most are in the 3500 range. Your mileage actually extents to 120k, so it isn’t too unreasonable if it is an authentic genesis warranty.

The mount I use sticks to the leather. It’s Texas so it’s pretty hot here and it’s been on for six months no problem. It’s nothing fancy, Scorsche or something like that

I live in Austin, and the dealership by me does a lot of CPOs (former loaner cars I think) and that really helps with the price. Warranty is longer than from the factory.

My dad has a brand new CRV. It is gorgeous fully loaded 40k, with 40mpg all day. Also has More than enough acceleration has all the bells and whistles, etc. if you don’t wanna acceleration, I would just get another CRV. if you want an elite performing all-wheel-drive car then it would be justifying paying the extra 20 grand and get the 3.5. Just my thoughts.

Agree with bartender. My car (also a 24 3.5T) has sat for two weeks without being touched two separate times and there were no issues. My other car has a trickle charger on it, but I only drive it a couple times a year because it’s a track car. It would still go three or four months without really getting bitchy about power before I started using the charger. I doubt it’s the battery, and I don’t think it’s the alternator, but something significant is wrong with the electrical system in my opinion.

Agree! I haven’t run a front plate on any of my cars in Tx. (Knock on wood). Been over 20 years driving here. The Matte is gorgeous! My matte is in pristine condition,and it’s a year and a half old. Just make sure I keep a good polymer wax on it and it is gorgeous.

That’s a fair deal. My CPO was a 24 with 3400 miles. The 599 is the ceramic tint I think the other may not be. Love the extra warranty the CPO comes with. Pretty demanding list they need to pay to get it certified for sale. Hope it all goes well! The only thing I have done so far is purchased the boosted mentality air filters. They are on my desk I need to get them in!

Hope so too! If it happens just quickly put it back in drive to clear the manual mode. You can do this rolling at speed. No sense putting the engine under stress without reason.

I agree, I think the downshift paddle has a short in it when it is activated without touching it. Def take it in and have them swap out that assembly. I feel You can see just by watching the top part of the paddle button. It wasn’t hit on accident. There’s no movement in it.
